I love to read. Reading is my hobby and passion. Readers are leaders and leaders are readers. I fell in love with reading after I read Ben Carsons book on think big. There he made a life Changing statement for me,

Read for your life.

This was it for me and just when I thought I was motivated enough, I came across an annoying statement from a white man who said that if you want to hide something from a black man, put in inside a book.

That was the height of it and since then, I decided that I would be a voracious reader and I wouldn’t just read but I would apply the wisdom gotten from the books I read.

Tell us about that book you read that changed your life.

I have many books that made great impressions in my mind but the latest book I read that held me spell bound, changed my mentality and the way I see finances was “The Richest man In Babylon written by George S. Clayson. I read this book early this month like three weeks ago.

The Richest man in Babylon to me is the most inspiring book I’ve read that reveled the secret of wealth of the ancients. Men who lived in an age when our world wasn’t even as half developed as it it now and yet they were so successful and prospered.

Embedded in this books are simply laws of wealth which if patiently practiced by anyone who desires to have a good taste of wealth and to maintain it would hearken to, there’s no limit to what the person can achieve financially.

What is your favorite literary genre and author, share the reasons.

My favorite literary genre is books on finances and the author I enjoy reading his financial books of which he has written many of it and it’s an epitome of wealth and success when it comes to finances is Robert T. Kiyosaki.

I love to read his books because Like I said above, he had proven to be very successful in the area of wealth creation and if you want to be successful too, one of the steps to follow is to follow successful people.

He had deep insight on money and financial management and how to create a stream of income and turn it to wealth from little or nothing hence my ardent interest in his books.

If you had the opportunity to write a book, what would it be about?

If I have the opportunity to write a book of which I know am going to in the future, am going to write a book on financial intelligence and how to manage our finances. Many are living just to make money and eat and some are chasing money and never find it because they are oblivious of the principles that guides wealth creation.

These are the the things am going to teach and pinpoint in my book hoping a lot would come across it, employ and deploy these principles and be able to build wealth for themselves.

Recommend a book to your readers on Steemit.

Dear wonderful steemian, if you need a book to change your mindset on how to handle your finances, search no more. Please get and read “The Richest Man in Babylon’’. Please don’t just read it, be willing and wise to apply every single word it has to say to you. Thank me later.

I would stop here for today, your thoughts on this post are welcomed. I invite @ruthjoe, @ngozi996 and @pandora2010 to participate in this contest.
