In previous week I was one of the winners. I am here to share some of my favourite yellow colour flower with photographs. Here I am sharing the contest announcement like so that you can participate too. Let's start,
We all are familiar with this yellow colour flower. Scientific name of this flower is Helianthus annuus. These flowers are look like sun and can rotate with sun that’s why it is named sunflower. I have visited a sunflower garden with my friends recently and took some photos of sunflower from that garden. When I saw this week's contest's flower colour is yellow I immediately select this sunflower for my post. In Bangladesh, these flowers were first cultivated in gardens as ornamental flowers. Due to the relatively large shape of this flower, it is able to attract everyone. Later this flower started to be cultivated commercially in our country. Oil is produced from sunflower flowers. Both demand and market price of sunflower are very high.
This is a very beautiful yellow flower. Rose is a common flower but yellow rose are comparatively rare. Yellow rose is a sign of friendship. I took this photo from a renowned nursery named Brak. This flower is small in size but it is a very pretty flower. The beauty of roses is that they are widely cultivated in gardens. Besides, many people grow roses commercially. A lot of money can be earned by selling rose.
In this picture, you can see the beauty of a cactus. Its a yellow grafted moon cactus. Scientific name of this cactus is Gymnocalycium mihanovichii. It is an expensive plant but it is very easy to maintain. Watering in this plant is very essential for this plant. You have to water in this only when the pot is dry out. There are several colour of this moon cactus. Such as red, pink, orange and many more. Each moon cactus cost 600 BDT or around 24 steem.
The last flower picture I am showing you all is one of the beautiful flowers of my garden. The name of this flower is moss rose. I have three colour of this flower. Among them I love the yollow one most. Hope you liked my yellow moss rose too.
