Greetings fellow steemians !!
I hope you all are well and enjoying quality time with your loved ones.
This is my entry for the Contest - "Object of the Week" organised by @strecoza. Check the details of the contest in the following link :
These contests are really turning out to be fun. Who knew just a simple object could have so many memories attached to it . This weeks object is a plate, something we all are very familiar with, something that we use every day in our house.
This plate is from a very long time ago, i don't know how it survived so many years.
It's a baby plate. I even used it in college to portion control .
This one is called kansa thali in the local dialect. People say it's good for health to eat in these plates. Everyone at our village uses these plates. It's made of bell metal (bronze). What i've read on the internet is that kansa alloy helps to support digestive health by purifying and alkalizing meals. Even Ayurvedic doctors prescribe Kansa because of its exceptional health benefits for its capacity to promote holistic healing, reduce stress, and detoxify the body.
I am currently in thr city where i only have one of this plate. It looks a bit greenish because to clean it properly we use wood ashes at the village which is unfortunately not available here.
This is one is from the dinner set that i have been using currently.
Plates come in different shapes and sizes and they all have a story to it.
Thankyou for visiting my blog ☘💖☘
Sending love and light 🧚♀️
