Hello everyone! One of the problems I have noticed with attempting to post about Harry Potter is that there is very little art that can be used for posts because of copyright. I figured I would try to increase the amount of art there is that we can use in this community by running a Harry Potter art contest. I will be giving 12 SBD (plus whatever liquid rewards this post pays out) to the selected winner of the contest. Here's some more about the contest:
Wizarding World Art Contest
To be considered for the prize of 12 SBD (plus whatever liquid this post pays out),
- Submissions must depict an object, creature, or scene from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter
- Submissions must be the original work of the post's author
- The submission's post must be exclusive to Steem.
- Submissions must be posted in the Wizarding World Community, and use the tag #wwartcontest01
- The submission post must include an acknowledgement that, regardless of whether the work wins or loses, authors in the Wizarding World community can use the art so long as credit is given.
- The art can be any type (I.E. Painting, drawing, graphic design, etc...)
- Artists may make multiple submissions if they wish.
- The competition will end on June 5th
I will also include a suggested theme. Please note that the submission does not have to depict this theme.
Suggested theme: Harry's first quidditch game
