Introduction
Hello, beautiful people. It's another precious time to share an article with you and I hope you are great. It's the Easter season when we Christians celebrate the death of Christ and his resurrection to free man from the bondage of sin. I will share a few moments with you about how my day went.
My Easter Moment- 2022
It was late a bit before I woke up for the day, and that is because I stayed up late last night. And it's Easter. I have concluded of not going to the Galilee today, nevertheless, I have a few things to take care of in the house. I woke up at 7 am, and had my silent time.
My first engagement of the day was checking on a few articles published in Steem4Nigeria community as I worked as a moderator leaving quality interactions on articles that have been published in the community. I performed the house chores and had my bathing. My breakfast was bread, tea, and egg.
A friend of mine since my University days was in town and checked up on me yesterday. As such, I had the thought to hang out with him today, unfortunately, at about noon, he told me he wasn't available as he has followed his uncle to a nearby town. I'm not a loner anyway, it's just that I only attend to important things, as such I rarely have friends that are close by, it's always distant.
At 05:30 pm, I stepped out to visit Bristol Park named after the legend Nelson Mandela here in my city, also known as Freedom Park. This is a place with a few amusement facilities to cool off. At arrival, I got my ticket for 500 NGN equivalent to 3 STEEM and took the first selfie of the day.

I climbed the iron-framed stairway for navigation within the park, why do we have that? Railways were passing through the park, as such the park is separated into two parts while the railway is contained within. The stairway is used for navigation between the park and it's made stylish with different linkages to the preferred section of the park. Let's see what my city looks like from the top.

In the park, there exist the statues of past strong political leaders and some that are still living. And I will share with you below, the first was that of Chief Obafemi Awolowo, this is a great name to remember in the history of Nigeria, he was one of the fighters for Nigeria's independence and he always remembered for remarkable breakthroughs like Free education amongst others.

The last picture above is that of a former governor of one of the strongest states in Nigeria, Lagos state. This man is also an aspiring presidential candidate in the coming elections in 2023, there are doubts about his capability, that I won't say much about. It's just about time to leave the park after I had a rest at the seat and I captured a few more pictures.

I must take something for the night, I branched at the Justrite Superstore to get some biscuits and drinks, that'd be okay for the night. I captured the numerous cars parked outside the store before entering the store.

The rating of the freedom park I visited earlier is 4.0, I was in the store when Google notified me and asked for my thought on the rating.

Conclusion
In conclusion, there are a lot more beautiful memories I couldn't share in this piece, I don't wanna stuff the article with too many pictures.
