About a few days ago, an application was opened as regards overhauling the Moderators in our dear community #steem4nigeria, given the trend of events and the need to add steam to our activities. It became necessary to stir up our mode of operation in the community by leveraging on MODs that are willing to serve the growth of the community.
Steem4nigeria aims to ignite more responsive, fresh ideas, and efficient community moderation given our call for this application.
The responses received for this application were quite in line with our expectations given the criteria for this role in the community. It was a keenly hard process to come up with this selection after going through applications submitted by both intending moderators and existing moderators. However, the following users have been nominated as Moderators for the Steem4nigeria community.

Congratulations to all selected Steem4nigeria MODs. For a quick reminder as published in the application post, these are some of your basic duties. Others would be communicated in the group as we work in this new capacity.
MODs are expected to check articles to satisfy the basic rules of Steemit (No GPT AI content, no plagiarism, bot-free...).
These articles should be checked in order of publishing for clean validation. Avoiding all selective reviews.
MODs should also abide by all the basic rules of the platform.
MODs are not expected to promote setting beneficiaries of any kind without informing the Admin. The only recognized accounts for beneficiaries are @steem4nigeria and @null (users should not be forced).
MODs should keep their days in mind and employ full dedication to the duty. (This will be communicated in the group)
Selection of booming articles by MODs should not be based on cliques (MODs are expected to visit older dates to select active quality publications that have missed out on selection). Guideline to be shared in the group.
Must be willing to be part of progressive changes in the community.
Steem4Nigeria is a non-profit community as such we may not be able to offer much to the moderators, we are looking forward to people who have a deep love of the community in their hearts.
We would be setting beneficiaries from our official account to moderators (the scheme would be revealed after the recruitment process).

Other rewards may be included in the long run.
The rewards would solely be based on the performance of the moderators over time (kindly take note).
