Hello Game Lovers
The week is almost over and the weekend is just a day away. I usually play more battles on the weekend but this time I am playing the same on weekdays too because I work from home and I play a few battles when I take a break from work.
New-season started today and It's time to share the battle with SERPENTINE SPY card and this seems to be a nice card from fire splinters. I did not have this card with so after the contest announcement I purchased it from the market and played some battles with it to understand how it performs. Now I am quite familiar with its ability and performance.
My Strategy and Cards for this Battle
Serpentine Spy is a common card of the Fire Monster and it comes from the Untamed edition. This is not an expensive card so its cool to have a higher level card however I have only level 1 card with me but soon I will upgrading it to a higher level.
Serpentine Spy Statistics
This card is a common card that costs only 3 mana which is too less and has the ability of opportunity which makes it attack nicely and makes 2 point damage with level 1 card. Such a card at just the mana cost of 3 is surely worth this must be part of battles with fire splinters whenever mana is on the lower side (most preferably up to) because if there is more mana then obviously there are many much better cards to have. While this card cost only 3 mana but its placement on the battle is very important else it may get hit and it can not survive more than one attack.
Serpentines are naturally sneaky, but their highly-trained spies can infiltrate even the most secure bases in the Splinterlands. They wear minimal armor, because they are never caught. Retractable miniature spears are the chosen weapon of the Serpentine Spies; they can be hidden easily and brandished quickly for many uses.
I used 6 cards because the battle mana was 50 for this battle and I choose the best cards available as per the theme.

Living Lava
This is a rare card from the fire monster and its from untamed edition. This card comes with 7 mana cost and one of the powerful cards in the battle and its ability is Shield. Because of this ability, it gets reduced damage, and thats why its best to keep this card on the front row. Even there are few cards that are unable to attack this card so I always keep this card at the front while playing the battle with the Fire monster.
Molten Ogre
Molten Ogre is a common card from the fire team and its from reward edition. I have this card in level 2 and even put it in second place with the strategy that it can lead the battle if lava is destroyed.
Zalran Efreet
Zalran Efreet is a legendary card in the fire from reward edition print. This is so powerful card and its ability is LIFE LEECH which is quite special. Because of this ability, this card gets numbers added to its health with each attack and this is what makes this card special. I like this type of card very much and this way I can play longer and that leads closer to the winning.
Fire Elemental
Fire Elemental is a powerful card and having this card in the battle makes it nice and increases the chance of winning. This card does dual damage with each attack. I mean to say in one attack it hits two cards and that is very good about this card. It cost 5 mana and rare card from untamed edition.
Serpentine Spy
Now let's talk about Serpentine Spy which is this week's theme card. It costs 3 mana and this card is a common one from the fire in the untamed print edition. This has the ability of Opportunity which attacks the card nicely. It works pretty well with the amount of mana is used.
Goblin Chariot
This card does not have any special ability but still its good one to have for making good damage to opponent player. This is a rare card from the untamed edition and I use this card quite often with battles. Its better to keep it if you want to have a card for attack purposes.

I won the battle and after this, I got 19 ratings added to my score, and this battle I played with DUCTHANH player. My strategy worked well in this battle and Serpentine Spy played the game well along with other cards like Living Lava, Molten Ogre and
Zalran Efree also helped a lot to make nice hits. My card selection was great and the Serpentine Spy did nice hits and even it made the last attack in the battle.
Do I use Serpentine Spy Often?
Serpentine Spy is quite a new card to me as I never played with before and I even did not have this before. I played so many battles with this card after the purchase and thats how I made myself familiar with this card's performance.
Will I use this Card in future battles?
Definitely. I like the performance of the card and I will surely use this card in future battles while paying game with fire elements. I think this is a card which should be picked only when mana is less and approx 20 and if its more then I would have better cards to go for.
