This is my post for this week's Battle Share challenge by @splinterlands and details are provided in this official post
Talking about the theme for this week which is based on Gelatinous Cubes and I really use this card for my battles but since I used this time I am going to talk about how I use and what are the strategies that I followed. As I always say that playing battles on splinterlands is so much fun and it's even more fun to try out different strategies every time which make sometimes loose and sometimes wins. Even if I lose the battle then also I get the experience that I shouldn't try to follow the same strategy again and try out something new but if we win then it does not mean that I should not try out something new. So basically trying different ways and tricks and strategies are always so much fun and that's what I always enjoy. I already have Gelatinous Cube so it was not needed for me to buy this card. I usually check my card portfolio once I see the battle share post but this time I did not do as I knew that this card is already there. If not available then I am ready to buy as well. In fact, I did buy the cards as per theme in last few battles.
This week was pretty good as it was the Holi Festival in India. I enjoyed the festival in India but I missed a few days to play this season because I was away for the Holi celebration with my family. Though I was away but still, I managed to cover up my battle and I currently stand at silver league which is a nice league for me on the gaming platform. I have completed 599 battles on Stephen talents out of which I have 1 to 90 with the longest Street as 12 and my current rating is 1847 which is making me stand in silver first League. This time my aim is to enter in Gold one league and I am all set to unlock that. Nothing is impossible if the best of efforts of given to the goal and I am doing the same from my side. Maybe I don't the best of cards which might make the journey from silver to gold easy but I think with the strongest card anyone can do. Real fun and challenges are when I do reach there with the same cards I have and once I unlock it then it would be so much fun and kind of accomplishment feeling.
Battle Team and Strategy
This is my team details showing my cards chosen for the game. I had selected 5 cards within the mana limit of 20. Since the mana limit is not high so its important to choose the right cards and place it well to ensure more chances of winning the battle.
Alric Stormbringer
Because theme card for this week comes from Neutral monster so I decided to play the battle through the water splinter team and chose Alric Stormbringer as the summoner.
1-Gelatinous Cube
This is the one on which this battle is based on and even a theme card. This does not hit but it saves nice and whenever any monster dies then it gets 1 point added to its power that helps it to survive longer.
Medusa
This is one of my favourite cards and I always pick it when fighting a battle with water splinters. No matter what mana I get but I choose it for sure because it takes only 4 mana and within less mana, it does big damage to enemy's cards. I kept it in second place because I wanted to save it from hits so that it can hit more and cube can save it from hits as well.
Ruler of the Seas
This is my all-time favourite card in water splinter because in my 90% battles I won when I selected this card. Buying this card was the best decision that I made a few weeks back and ofcourse I had to pay a good price as well to own this awesome piece. It hits two cards in one shot that does dual damage to the opponent player. The only way you can get the best use of it to save from hits and if you are able to do this then for sure this will lead you the winning of the battle.
Albatross
This is a common card from Water splinters in the Untamed edition. This did not do well, in fact, its just a card to save other cards from one hit and for that, just single mana is used.
Furious Chicken
Thi chicken is also used to save another card from hits and best of all- it does not cost any mana so whenever I get an empty slot then I put Furious Chicken there instead of keeping it unused.

At the end of the battle, I got this win and 21 points added to my score.
Did my strategy work? will I try differently next time?
Whatever strategy I tried with the battle it worked well and happy to share this. I am happy that my plan worked but it does not mean that I will not experiment with it. I will surely try various ways to hands-on different strategies and hope these will be fun too. There was a constraint on the mana side because it was only 20 and choosing a bigger mana card was not possible and even I could not choose more cards. So I did whatever was the best possible.
Do you use Gelatinous Cube often? Why or why not?
Gelatinous Cube is not a new card for me because I played with this card so many times and even won various battles. I am happy that I got the opportunity through @splinterlands weekly battle share and I could share my strategies. I will also be using this card with my future battles whenever I find it useful to fit it depending upon mana and battle need.
