In my life, the most important person who has influenced all my decisions is my mother. Nothing in the world can compare with the true love and care of my mother to me. She is not only my mother but also my friend and my great teacher. She taught me not only the ways to treat everybody well but also skills in cooking. My mother has taught me how to choose fresh food, preserve food, and food hygiene and safety. I am glad to participate in this contest because it is a chance for me to say thank my mother. I love my mom very much.
And then, I will show you a yummy recipe for dumpling and how to make this cake. It is also my mother's most favorite recipe. We usually use dumplings for my family's breakfast. Using dumplings with milk is a perfect choice for a fully nutritious meal in the morning.
Dumpling is a popular kind of cake in Vietnam privately and some Asian countries generally. However, Not everybody can make white, soft, and delicious dumplings. Following I and mother to make the yummiest dumplings with my mom's favorite recipe. Today, we will make cakes together.
Now, let's start:
INGREDIENTS:
1. FOR THE CRUST:
Wheat Flour: 200g
Corn starch: 50g
Warm milk: 140g
Baking powder: 2g
Instant yeast: 4g
Cooking oil: a teaspoon
Sugar: 10g
2. FOR THE FILLING:
Ground meat ( Pork): 100g
Wood mushroom: 50g
Vermicelli: 100g
Dry onion: 2 pcs
Pepper: a little
Quail egg: 9
Seasoning: salt
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Crust:
- The first bowl: pour warm milk with sugar and instant yeast to active yeast, about 3 minutes.
- The second bowl: mix flour, corn starch, salt together. Then put banking power and mix again.
- Put ingredients in the first bow to the second bowl, then knead the dough until smooth, about 5 minutes no longer. Then cover the dough and put the dough in a dark area, keep it in 3 hours until the dough is double size.
2. Filling
- Clean all ingredients.
- Soak vermicelli and wood mushroom with water until soft, then cut them into smaller pieces ( see photo)
- Boil quail eggs and remove the eggshells
- Stir-fried dried onion, pork, wood mushroom, seasoning, pepper, and Vermicelli together.
3. Warp and boil dumpling:
- Divide the dough into nine pieces and roll the dough very thinly. Then put the filling and an egg in the center of the dough and warp it ( see photo). After that, line the cake with baking paper.
- Boil packed cakes in the autoclave for about 10 minutes until cakes rise. Boil cake until the last cake.
- Serve thee dumpling with a cup of milk for your breakfast.
