Teaching Team - Challenging

Dear Steemit-team

We talk and talk and talk

and the words that are spoken are rarely heard, let alone read. A sad state of affairs if you ask me for a platform that says it asks for good writers and readers.
Good is in my eyes a part of entertainment and when it comes to entertainment, it is about spending your free time in a way that gives satisfaction. That can be with a roar of laughter, shedding a tear, doing something together, or studying.

Creativity is hard to find on Steemit and that is why I want to start a writers group or maybe that book club. A group where it is not just about writing but about what we see and experience. A good writer (artist) sees, feels, and shares. How to share that can be learned. It is not as difficult as it seems and no, I do not need a hundred students asking me how to write because everyone deserves to be read. I am happy to make that time even if it takes more time, but an answer will follow.

On average I read thirty stories a day and these are also edited or provided with tips (the average writer knows that you write 500 pages and you get it back with mainly crossed-out sentences (with a bit of luck you have 200 left if..)._

Six lessons is not much but everyone can learn to write but enough to learn and practice how to see something consciously, feel, and write about it This can be an image, piece of text, or life experience. Creative writing is all about what's going on in your head and showing it to the world.

Introduction Writing

Lesson 1: Awareness

What is it that they see and feel? We are going to consciously look at images and/or a piece of text and get to work with it.

Lesson 2: Free writing

Writing down thoughts, letting our fingers do the work. Yes, a timer is set. The trick is to keep writing. Do you have no idea what? Then there is a prompt and writer's block or not, you have to keep writing! Pauses are not allowed and mistakes? That doesn't matter.

Lesson 3: Short of material.

A lot of blah blah blah or 5x thank you and hello every one is not interesting to read. So every word counts... In lesson three it is the diary's turn. One that everyone wants to read, and therefore can be sold. You probably know the bestsellers.

Lesson 4: Stories

By story I mean a fairy tale, something with fantasy and fiction and not your life story or summary of the day with the hashtag story!

Lesson 5: Short text

We are going to write a super short text with a maximum of words or... characters.
This can be a story, a slogan, but also that clickbait title that you need to get someone to read what you have written.
Short and powerful is also what is used in the advertising world!

Lesson 6: Poetry, poems or is it a verse or lyric?

For many, this is heavy, boring material despite the daily confrontation with it. We will discover what words can mean, look for hidden texts, double meanings, and... how much fun it can be to write poems yourself (often much more fun than reading poems).

And yes, we are going to discuss the right use of hashtags as well and there will be homework.
