I have been reaching out to young entrepreneurs lately and introducing them to Steem. I discovered how much they all love the idea of investing for their future but some of them lack the confidence to venture into any investment opportunity out there especially an online based due fraudulent reports about many. It's hard to make them understand that there are still legitimate investment opportunities out there as some have been duped before by some businesses who purported to be legit but turned out to be a fraudulent deal.
We can't use the failures or the bad records of some cryptos to discredit the ones that are credible and have remained promising for years. Steem has remained promising for five years and still rewarding those who have had the confidence to invest.
I met Beatrice recently and introduced her to steem. She is a young graduate from the University of Education Ghana who has set up her own business as licensed public typist. This job is indeed lucrative if you should get a good joint close to a court house, police station, revenue offices and banks where they mostly document a lot of information. She is located at Abuakwa town - Kumasi and stationed close to the district offices of the town and so have many people who patronize her services daily. She mostly do the work with her laptop and a traditional typewriter.
I spoke to her about steem and how she can become an investor in Steem for good returns. She is very aware of Bitcoin but never knew there were other coins similar to Bitcoin. She had doubts about cryptocurrency but I helped clear the doubts by given her reasons to choose steem since it offers better options than any other crypto. I also used the opportunity to introduce her to Steemit also and how she can make good use of her writing skills on the platform. I was glad I was able to give good education to help her gain better understanding of the steem ecosystem.
I'm always keen with Steem and steemit education in my promotions. People need to get the right message and have a better understanding before considering investment in Steem or signing up on Steemit. We can do a great work for the steem ecosystem if we always give proper education.
