Weekly Reflections #12 : 2023 Recap & hopes for 2024 | my memorable moments and achievements..

Greetings to my fellow steemians in steem for better life, I believe you all spent your new year happily with full of fun and good times, it's a pleasure to join this contest organized by @damithudaya, let's talk about my 2023 recap and hope gkr 2024.

There are several lovely memories and archivement stuck in my head, this memories moment whenever I remember I do feel happy and proud, let's discuss about them.

MY NEW PHONE

First it was on June 13, a day I finally went to bought my current phone TECNO SPARK 10, apart from me, we all feel happ when we buy a new thing especially phone, I was indeed happy because it was among the latest phone in town, that moment when your dream come true, you all understand the feeling right? I was happy and proud of myself.

THE CONVENTION

During the COVID 19 pendamic season, some churches was closed due to the spreadable disease, to follow the government rules my church was closed, we missed every moment i mean the time we used to spent at church and convention, reaching to the world and preaching the goodnews of God.

Guess what!! On November 11 to 13 was our first regional convention, the convention was three day's streak, something I've been missing for complete two years back, before the convention date i already planned to embrace the moment with a open heart full of joy and happiness, at the convention camp, we cooked all types of food, we had a remarkable moment, the time we spend at the convention camp is unforgotteble to me.

Another special feeling that makes the event memorable was the new people that got baptized, a total of 8 souls gave their life to God lucky enough they were my friends and relatives, I saw faces that I missed for a long time, we cracked jokes, we gist and vibes, we laughed and drink, honestly the time i spend at the camp is still fresh to me.

MY FIRST PREACHING

I was indeed surprised and scaring the moment I received the slip that told me about my first preaching in the church, I've been waiting for this moment although it's always scary, to me standing in front of the whole congregation was not my problem but being courage and bold enough to overcome the scared of talking was my problem but it didn't stop me.

On that day 28 December 2023, I was bold and courage enough to voice out to the congregation, honestly it was God who help me through because I seek his help, that feeling when everyone hug me with words of encouragement is something I'll never forget, it's a great and happy memory in my life.

Actually the past year was not really the best to me but I'm happy I've learned significant lessons, I start by

NEVER GIVE UP WHEN YOU FAILED

Before the beginning of the year 2023, I planned to save the amount of hundred thousand naira, everything was rolling smooth and find, all of a sudden I had a deadly issue which remained quarter of the saving I kept, I was discouraged and feels like giving up on the planned but when I was introduced to steemit although i have doubts like i can't, the rest is history, now with the help of steemit i can pridely say i have hundred thousand, this thought me never to give up when i fail.

Because if getting to the top was that easy, everyone will have gotten there, it is only the difficulties, the temptation, the obstacles that makes those at the top unique, when you refuse to give up nothing will hinder you from getting to the top.

IMPOSSIBLE IS NOT AN OPTION

I learned this when I started my journey here in steemit, being honest i thought working here wil be complicated, the thought of writing quality content that will catch my audience attention overwhelmed me and i was like it's too difficult I can't do it, i was motivated by my inner person to give a try boom i became inspired and decided give steemit a try, here i am today flourishing and thriving, whenever you give a try on what you think its impossible, you'll surely join me and say impossible is never an option.

Being one of steemians around the world has influence my life positively, firstly peace of mind is now my favorite friend, I'm not scared of running out of money because i believe that as far as I'm consistently creating quality content, my support will come amd will always come, this alone is my biggest influence from steemit platform.

I've already step my feet in to the year 2024, one of my key aspiration is consistency,I'm entering the year with consistency in mind, to depend solely in creating quality content and hoping to earn what i deserve, my aspiration is to keep grinding and move with focus to wear the crown of victory in 2024.

2023 was not really bad to me and I'm grateful to God for the gift of life, I've learned a lot and I've lost a lot, i was tested More than ever, I've cried and laughed, most of all I'm happy because I'm here, 2023 has not broken me.
