In a few days, north Aceh was hit by floods, overflows, and the collapse of river embankments and irrigations due to the very high rainfall above. So that water enters the residential area. The World Smile Project provides an emergency response to flood-affected families. The location we chose was the Pirak Timu sub-district where there were many active steemit users who felt the impact of the flood.
The assistance we provide is a basic daily need. People cannot find work and it is difficult to get basic food. Then bring some basic needs to be distributed and consumed while in the refugee camp that has been prepared.
Among other things that we carry;
- Rice
- Eggs
- Cooking Oil
- Mineral water
- Instant Noodles
- Sarong
- sanitary napkins
and others.
This assistance comes from active users who share rewards with world smile accounts. Where previously we have carried out humanitarian missions to the Philippines. Where there are many residents affected by the typhoon who lost their roofs.
The following is a picture of the distribution of aid from the World Smile Project to people who were flooded and lost their property and some even claimed lives.

Hopefully, this assistance can help people who are directly affected by floods and can ease the burden suffered during floods. The distribution process to victims will be handled by the village government to be more targeted by living in a public kitchen.
