Hello friends, I am very happy to see another beautiful day as this, I want to appreciate the steemit team for such an amazing contest for steemians to write and get rewarded, thanks to this wonderful community for their hardwork to see the community always lively, I had a long journey today and I want to share how the journey went the purpose of the journey and in summary, a diary.
Waking up this morning was all about the journey taught hovering over my heads, after four years in my country Nigeria, every state is permitted to change it's leaders, from the state head who is called the governor, the house of assemblies, the state representatives and senates and the changes is done by citizens coming out to vote on their choices.
Breakfast
I run my election in the village so I wake up as early as 5:30am and started praying in thanks giving to the almighty for such a wonderful and a blessed day again to be among the living ones, after which I studied the word of God and commence my normal morning house chores, sweeping the house, washing the bathroom and plates afterwhich I ate my breakfast.
At about 8am I was done with all I was doing and started moving to my polling unit in my village called Washo. Washo is my village but I don't like staying there for long because its a village and I am not always comfortable with that. The journey to washo took me about 3 hours.
I arrived to the polling unit at about 10:13 am, people were already there, the materials was brought early and almost everybody there has casted their vote, Immediately I arrived, I was given the space to vote on the candidates of my choice which I did and I left that place immediately.
I had no plans of going back home today so I drove to one of the hotels in the village to lay down for the night, to freshen up and to eat whatever I want to eat. I ordered for what I want and I was served, I ate a plate of rice, fish and salad and theen balanced it with Lacasera drink.
My Lunch
After my lunch at about 4pm, I went to the room I lodged to have a rest, before I could realise I was already sleeping and work up aroundd 7pm, unknown to me, It was dark already so I went back to my room, took my bath and lay on my bed.On my bed, I was going through my blog.Its exactly 9:00 pm, which I'm about to sleep now, so I divided to share how my day started and ended.
