We have another great contest in this community by @ripon0630 vai. At first, it seems to be an easy contest but when I start writing the post I find that it is not that so much easy. But no doubt it's a wonderful one. Our present contest's topic is:
I choose a recipe that I can make with only 5 ingredients. That is OATS SOUP. After much thinking, I choose this recipe. Now let me describe it for you.
5 ingredients
Ingredients | Measurement |

Oats | 1.5 Table spoon |
Olive oil | 2 Table spoon |
Water | Half liter |
Salt | Half tea spoon |
Garlic | 3 cloves |
I will show you the total cooking process step by step.
I put olive oil in pan and some slices of garlic and add some salt also. Cook it until it becomes deep brown.
Then add some water and give it a good boil.
Now add Oats and cook it until the oats are properly cooked. We all know that oats don't take too long to cook.
The soup is ready to eat. Now you can add some sauce, pepper, sausages, coriander leaves chili, etc to make it more delicious. I add some chillis and sausages but it's optional. It's better with the basic 5 ingredients.
It's really tough work to cook an item with fixed five ingredients. So I choose a simple and healthy recipe for the contest. As we all know healthy recipes always can be cooked with fewer ingredients. They are easily available in my locality.
I always try to avoid using too much oil and spices in my cooking. Whenever I attend any occasion I always avoid oily food. I taught my family members to eat such kind of food. My philosophy is if I take oil & spice too little my stomach will be happy and I will remain fit. If I remain fit I can do better in my life in every aspect. There is also a famous saying " Health is wealth".
I like to advise some tips to cooks who want to cook with minimal ingredients.
- Wisely choose the basic ingredients. It will also show your expertise in cooking.
- Always remember that fewer ingredients can make your meal healthy and tasty. It will make your work easy.
- Remember that too much spice and oil can damage your health. So select your ingredients in such a way that all the members of your family can eat them.
- Choose easily available ingredients which will save your valuable time.
