Finally, after two weeks of taking the odd semester final exam this year. To be precise, today is the last day of the exam and coincidentally today the exam ends earlier at 9.30am.
I along with other classmates decided to go on a picnic of grilled chicken at my place. After that, we immediately divided the tasks to buy the necessary items so that it would be faster and not waste too much time.
After all the materials were collected we immediately went back to my house to prepare the materials we had bought earlier. The cooking process was a little noisy because we were quite busy so the sound was noisy. After traveling 30 minutes from the city of Lhokseumawe to my house, I finally arrived.
We immediately rushed to prepare all the equipment and necessities needed for the picnic and cooked the chicken and other ingredients at home first. It didn't feel like that finally all the materials and necessities needed were ready, all I had to do was go to the beach which is located not far from my house.
At that time, at exactly 13.30 we immediately rushed to the beach by motorbike. It didn't take long for it to finally arrive. Immediately we spread out the cushions to put all the materials and equipment we brought.
It didn't take long because it was already noon, we immediately started the fire to burn the chicken, other friends prepared syrup drinks mixed with grated cucumber, and other friends prepared rice and other work.
All our work is done by dividing the tasks so that they are under control and ready quickly. The rice is prepared on a banana leaf in a neat line and facing each other.
They immediately distributed the grilled chicken soy sauce that we had cooked earlier in each rice. Then they also milk the drink along the rice.
Finally, everything is done, just waiting for the grilled chicken to be cooked. While waiting for the grilled chicken to be cooked, we told stories and made a few laughs discussing jokes and how we answered the test earlier.
Since this picnic was held at my place, my nephew also joined this picnic. After waiting, finally the grilled chicken was ready to eat. I and another colleague shared the chicken with each of their rice.
Then we all immediately sat down according to the place and facing each other to enjoy our food. It's amazing to have a picnic on the beach with very cold air in the late afternoon while enjoying grilled chicken.
