This day are celebrated mainly in south Asian countries. This is very respective night when Muslims pass their nights with prayers. The day starts from the evening to the day after evening. People fast on this day.
I and my three friends were invited at the evening time to have Ifter(time when people break their fast just after sunset) in Cafe Orion restaurant.
Generally we break our fasting with juice. After that they served us Chicken ball, Beef kabab, chicken stick, vegetable wonton, chicken roll, vegetable samusa, beef haleem, chicken haleem and jalebi(one kind of sweet).
After finishing ifter we said our prayer. We were served desert named "kunafa" it's an Arabic sweet dish and caramel tapioca. Then we finished our food taking with tea.
Among all the food beef haleem and chicken stick was best. Haleem is a Mugal recipe made with different kind of lentils and more telan 50 kind of spices with chicken, mutton or beef.
Chicken ball and beef kabab are familiar for their spic taste but it wasn't. Other food was average taste. Todays program was the trail for the coming big festive "Ramadan".
