Who paid for the tour? Where was the tour, and who went with you?

In the month of January this year, my elder brother, church member and I had something important to collect somewhere, we are both altar servers and we needed to collect the constitution of our association from another Parish/Catholic church.

We decided to embark on the journey on the third Sunday of that month because we were going to have our monthly meeting on the fourth Sunday and the constitution needs to be presented.

We went to the junction in front of our church street and boarded a keke. My church member known as Giovanni offered to lap me while my elder brother sat on his own. It didn't reach up to 8 minutes before Giovanni's friend entered the Keke and they started discussing till when we were about to come down because we have reached our destination, Giovanni's friend offered to pay for our transport and we agreed after must hesitation. We became happy because our transport was highly incomplete.

What challenges did you face while touring without any money?

The challenge we faced was delay, we spent alot of time looking for vehicle that will take us to our destination cheap because the prices they were calling were too much and if we pay that amount of money, we might get stranded at the end of the day.

We spent lots of minutes waiting for the vehicle that will agree to carry us with the cheap amount and it really wasted our time. Lack of peace of mind was also part of the challenge as we had no peace of mind because of fear of being stranded in a long journey far from home.

What were the best and worst experiences of the tour?

Best experience

The best experience we had was when we were in a situation where our transport fare were always paid by one person or the weather, we were just coming across people we know. Just like the time said we were waiting for the vehicle that will agree to carry us with the cheap amount of money we can offer, we came across our church member.

This particular church member of ours is a young guy who's a taxi driver, he's one of the choir members in our church and he knows how to sing very well. We explained everything to him and he carried us to our destination for free.

Another best experience was when an altar server we met in the other Catholic church we went to take a copy of their constitution agreed to help us with some money that we can use to add to our transport while going back home.

Worst experience

This happened when we almost lost our way to the Catholic church, we were more stranded and started asking people questions, some claimed not to know the church while a barber finally described the road to the church for us.
Another worst experience was when we finally reached the church and the constitution wasn't available, our stressful journey was just in vain.

What advice would you give to someone going on a tour without spending any money for the first time?

What I have as an advice isn't much, all I can say is that in life never forget to appreciate and thank the Almighty God, for you to embark on a journey without spending a penny means that God is always by your side, you need to appreciate and thank him whenever something good like that happens so that he can be willing to do more.

Conclusion

By the grace of God, we went back home with even extra money, we that thought that we wouldn't even have any other money to use as transport to go back home. God really saved and he surely did that because the nature of our journey was for God. Thanks for reading this long post without complains, is really an interesting post with losts of experience.

I invite @eliany, @radleking, @fantvwiki, @kouba01 and @shohana1 to participate in this contest
