We have not been able to complete a signup since two days now as a result of the Phone Invalid error returned by the phone field during signup. Many of our members recruiting new users struggle to go paste this challenge. I also noticed the same issue personally. We have tried with several phone numbers and typed correctly, but the same error message is returned.
Yesterday after a meetup in Cameroon, the country rep @njiatanga also could not sign up new users that were interested to join, confirming that its not an issue peculiar to Nigeria.

I am using this opportunity to bring this to the attention of the engineers. Could they check it up? Seems like there is a bug somewhere.
