As you may know, year 2023, your brother has been an amazing year. I'd recounted all my blessings and losses earlier this week on Steemit. Which I'll want you to improve and be better than him.
Hello steemians, let's have a little chat before we continue. Have you noticed whenever we enter a new year such as we will be entering 2024, almost everyone has new year resolutions? And that it is only a few people that would just receive a new year such as 2024 casually?
When I was younger, I used to join the team 'new year's resolutions.' But I noticed that year after year, I'll make resolutions, yet won't follow them. Sometimes, I won't even remember I made a resolutions.
Now, can I ask you some questions?
Do you also make new year resolutions?Do you fulfil them? If yes, how did you go about it? I'm asking the questions because I know there maybe others like me who never fulfilled their new year's resolutions and may need help as we are about to cross into 2024.
For me, since new year's resolutions never worked out for me. I resolved to making concrete plans for each year. Whenever I make such plans, I also make sure that I attach a time limit to be able to accomplish my plans for the year instead of just empty resolutions without clear vision.
Dear year 2024, just like a newborn baby that's born into every family, I love and cherish you. Just like a baby, you are packaged with many potentials and uncertainty. And I certainly understand that you have both the good and bad sides of you, but you know what? I'm coming to you in peace.
I'm simply not asking for too much. Rather, I'm asking that you cooperate with me. I'm asking that you'll be peaceful with me, my family and loved ones. I'm asking you to make me happy and fulfilled from day one to the very last day, is that understood?
I'm asking you not to bring me tears. You see, most times people fall sick and spend all their fortunes and become wretched. That's not what I want from you. I don't want to be sick, neither do I want anyone around me to be sick, you know how my country Nigeria is. I simply need strength to do all that would be required of me. I don't like stress.
I actually have some laid down plans for myself. So, dear 2024, like I've told you earlier, I don't need so much from you than cooperation, so just listen to me.
From January till March 2024, I need money to fix my mushroom farm properly.
By April, I need everything ready for the business.
By June, I need to harvest the first fruits of the mushrooms.
By July, I need to finalise the money for my post graduate. Remember, I'd told you I'd love to further my studies. Of course, that's no new news to you.
By August, the Post graduate forms will be out, so, I'll purchase the form.
There are very deep secrets I'd spoken to you about. 2024. I hope you haven't forgotten them.
You see, God has already given you to me that I make good use of you as long as I have the strength to do so. I'm assuring you that God's strength is sufficient for me to make good use of you.
I just hope you will make me proud of you by the time I get to your end in December 2024.
Listen to me, just instruct all your elements and your family members to cooperate too. I'm speaking to you now as friend to friend. Don't allow me to start ordering you to do things because you may not like the way I will speak to you.
