There are many things that pop up in my mind concerning a Mirror
A mirror is a smooth polished surface that form images by reflection.
We all know what mirrors are, we use it to check on how our dress looks, our face looks, makeup etc and sincerely I think Women need mirrors more than men because they apply so many Beauty treatments and so need the mirror to check out how it looks or if they put it well.
Not to talk of their dresses, they need to look carefully to see how it fits them, or if it's too big or if it is too small and can change the dresses over time.
Someone like me can't pass by a mirror without looking into it to see how I actually look at that moment.
I once heard someone make this statement "she is my mirror" after looking carefully At the definition of a mirror I got what the person meant. It means that she is your woman shining back at you with a world of possibilities, your greatest companion that sees all your suffering and pain and still loves you despite it all.
To mirror someone means to imitate that person, his qualities, style of dressing, speech infact everything that the person needs.
In a story popularly known as "Snowhite" the mirror is also owned by a wicked queen.
Let me tell the story of snow white, as you read note how the mirror was used here.
Once Upon a Time in a Kingdom, there was a queen and a king who hadn't had a child for a long time.
When the queen finally got pregnant and gave birth she died while giving birth o Snow White so the king married another Queen, the other Queen was obsessed with being the most beautiful in town she owned a magical mirror which told her who was the most beautiful in town.
One day before she went out for her duties she asked the mirror, "magic mirror magic mirror who is the most beautiful of them all"the mirror replied
"no one but you my dear Queen"
On the other hand Snow White was growing into a beautiful young lady who was loved by everybody in the palace.
When Snow White turned 17 the Queen once again went to her magic mirror and asked it once again
" magic mirror, magic mirror who is the most beautiful of them all" the mirror replied
"My queen snow white is the most beautiful of them all"
Because of what the mirror said she realized that she was no more the most beautiful instead it was snowhite.
She decided to get rid of snowhite so that she will be the most beautiful of all the ladies of the earth.
She told he personal assistant to take snowhite to the Forest and kill her bringing back her heart in a box, but the hunter couldn't destroy Beauty and so told her to run away for the queen wants to kill her, he took an animal heart to the queen.
Snowhite ran to the home of the seven dwarfs and cleaned their house and made dinner, when the dwarfs who worked in the mine came back and saw her in their little beds they welcomed her into their house and had so much fun. She also met a handsome prince who fell in love with her.
The queen decided to consult their mirror again, she asked the same question and the mirror replied
"Snowhite who lives with the seven dwarfs is the most beautiful of them all"
The enraged queen transformed to and old apple seller and made her way to the home of the seven dwarfs, she gave a poisoned Apple to her with made her die, the seven dwarfs put her in a beautiful coffin with flowers only a true love kiss could save her.
It was when the prince was traveling along that same road that he saw her and kissed her and she came back to life.
They went to the castle and told the king who imprisoned the queen forever and destroyed the mirror for good.
That's the end of the story.
You see the mirror made the queen more obsessed with her beauty, an led her to do lots of evils.
Mirror is used for good to know how you look.
My choice is mirror.
