My choice🌶️

I picked up the word "chillies". In the world, food is incomplete without chillies. But in indo-pak region, our food, our gossip, our literature and even our behavior are incomplete without chillies.

🌶️Chillies in History🌶️

Chilly is the queen in the dynasty of spices. And this rule can be detected back some sixty centuries ago.

Mainly, it is evidenced that chillies were cultivated in regions of South and central America in ages before. Chillies were used in cuisine and as medicine by Aztecs and Mayan people. Aztecs considered chillies as gifts of god. After the discovery of America, chillies expanded their empire and it touched the air of many countries.

🌶️Chillies in subcontinent 🌶️

Chillies came to the subcontinent approximately in the sixteenth century via Portuguese. Soon after arrival in the subcontinent, chilly became popular all over the land, and inclined to Indian cuisine. And since that till now it is an integral part of our formal and informal sustenance. In many other nations and cultures, chillies have a dominating role, but the legacy of chillies in the subcontinent can't be compared with any other.

🌶️Chillies in Pakistani food🌶️

Almost all Pakistani salty dishes include chillies as their main ingredient .We did not spend a day without chillies. Their incredible taste exposes and enhances with the combination of our traditional cooking style. Pakistani style food originates from Iranian roots, but its extremely spicy touch is pure from this land.

Here in my country, we serve a unique combination of meat dishes with all a lot of spices, which are ofcource dominant by chillies. You can consider it as a blend of various cultural cuisines, and this unique fusion of Central Asian, Iranian and Indian cuisine is inimitably flavorful. Some famous dishes from Pakistani cuisine which you must taste once in life are Stir fry beef chilli, chicken chilly dry recipe, chicken karahi, grilled seekh Kebabs, Lahore chargha, green chilly chutny, different salads with chaat masala, and many more.

🌶️Reality of chili flavor🌶️

Chillies in reality are not a flavor, but this is a sensation of pain. This hot and spicy effect of chillies is because of a chemical named capsaicin. Capsaicin stimulates the pain fiber, which identifies it as something hot in the mouth.

Due to this type of mesg, the brain reacts to release body heat and trigger all necessary actions for this purpose. This same chemical, the capsaicin, causes skin burn when it comes in touch with it. Although this pain sensation in terms of chilly flavor normally can be referred to as hot, smoky, sweet, raisin along with a pinch of pungent flavors.

🌶️Idiographic approach🌶️

We use to quote a proverb کسی کو مرچیں لگنا means a situation of intense kind of teasing with a sense of anger. This proverb has a wide range of uses, understood by those who are inhabitants of this earth. In literature, especially in lyrics of songs, chillies are used as aniconic sensation.

🌶️Varieties in chillies 🌶️

When we check out botanical varieties of chillies, it lies between three to four thousand. Among some famous edible chillies are sweet chilli, Bell chillies (red and green), Mexican chilli, red chilli, green chilli, chilli baby hot, Jalapeno chilli and many more.

🌶️Nutritional value🌶️

Most of us think that chillies do not have a significant value for nutrition. But in reality these are rich sources of vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin C, potassium and copper along with some amount of carbohydrates and a little bit of fat plus proteins.
