Let's do it...Do It Yourself👉Craft, Creativity, Drawing, origami, DIY, Recycling and more

Assalamualaikum, today I am writing my post for taking part in the ‘’Do it yourself” contest. I have always been an art enthusiast. Painting is my hobby. When I was not more than 5, my journey with colors began. I used to think, people see things in different colors. As I grew up, my fascination for colors in our everyday life flourished. The shades of blue in the sky, the greens in trees, the effect of shadow and light on how we see things made us want to paint and capture these moments.
Painting has always filled me with a sense of peace. Whenever my day takes a rough turn, I sit down with my canvas and colors to paint some beautiful part of my soul. The blank canvas fills me with a sense of freedom and possibility.
My favorite medium for painting is Acrylic colors. This is a thick paste medium that can be used with or without water as the painter’s choice. Usually, I mix my colors with a small quantity of water.
Today I am painting a nighttime scenery with acrylic color on canvas. The necessary products I used to make this painting are - 1. Acrylic color 2. Canvas 3. Palette 4. Brushes

I started by outlining the shape of a moon with a pencil on my canvas.

Then I mixed 2 shades of yellow colors to paint the moon. I used a size 2 brush to fill the color. For detailing I used a burnt brown color and a size 1 brush.

Then for painting the sky, I used 4 colors - aqua blue, navy blue, purple, and black. I mixed them with a big-sized brush and created a dark gradient of night sky colors. To depict the beaming of the soothing moon, I mixed white and pale yellow colors and painted it in a circular motion.

For the stars, I used a size 0 brush and used only white color and painted dots which highlighted my night sky even more romantically. I added some more details like trees to make my painting dreamy.

The whole process took me about 2 and a half hours but it gave me so much peace.
