Hello ladies, special thanks to @ngoenyi for always organizing this contest weekly, and today I decided to try and if I could still draw, and well I guess I tried. Today I will be teaching you guys how to draw A Realistic Eye. Stay tuned and learn.

Material Required

For this drawing, all you will be needing is:

  • A4 paper.
  • Pencil.
  • Eraser.
  • Cotton wool.

If you have graphite, you can use that to it will make your work more realistic, but I'm working with the once I have and the once less expensive and very affordable.

Steps Involved
  • Step 1

I first of all, prepare all the things I would be using for my drawing. And I make sure that my pencil is well sharpen and the mouth is pointed, so it will be easy to sketch.

  • Step 2

Start by sketching the shape of the eyes, pay close attention to the edges and the shape of course, let it be more like an oval shape, you can use your sister's/brother's eye as an example.

  • Step 3

Time to work on the Iris, for this, I drew the pupil first, then I started drawing those faint lines around the iris, I started from the outer circle to the inner, because the outer Circle's line should be thicker than the lines in the Middle, and the lines also around the inner circles should be thicker too, as seen in the picture.

  • Step 4

You will want to add more details to your iris, then work on the entire eye itself, This is where you will have to make use of your cotton bud, to add shadows to your work, since the inside of the eye shouldn't be entirely white, since it's a pencil drawing. We use the cotton bud to shade the inside and outside of the eye, that we go ahead and add the eyelid.

  • Step 5

It's time to add details to our eyelid, as usual use the cotton bud to add the necessary shadows, make sure to leave a space between the upper eye and the eyelid, same with the under eye.

Step 6

It's time to add our eyelashes. To be honest this was the hardest part for me, but if are going are drawing eyelashes, you shouldn't have a problem. If you are not good at it, here is the simplest method, draw from down to up, make sure the are crossing each other and it's is scanty and not jam-packed. Make sure the ending of the last is tin. Lastly do the down brows as well and you are done.

I have set 10% beneficiary to @steemladies

I invite my lady friends @aviral123, @comfortpeter and @deeokon to participate in this contest as well.
