How I prepared my delicious jollof rice.

Good day everyone, hope everyone is doing well, first of all, I want to say a big thank you to @ngoenyi for organizing this amazing contest, which I'm excited to participate in. I love cooking so much that I don't mind if that's the only work I will do in a day.

As long as I don't have to do any other work like washing dishes or washing clothes. So today I would like to share with you how I prepared my delicious jollof rice.


Ingredients.

  • Rice
  • Groundnut oil
  • Sachet Tomato
  • Pepper
  • Onion
  • Dry Fish
  • Cray Fish
  • Curry
  • Maggi
  • Salt.

Steps and preparation.

  • 1: Wash and grind your pepper and onion, also do the same to your crayfish, then use warm water to wash the dry fish.

  • 2: Place a pot on fire with water and allow it to boil, then add your rice to the boiling water and allow it to boil for some minutes then parboil.

  • 3: Place an empty pot on the fire, add your groundnut oil, and sliced onion, and then add in your sachet Tomato and stir, then pour in the grinded pepper and onion with crayfish and stir.

  • After that add your curry and stir, then add some water to the mixture, put in your Maggi and salt to taste at the same time add your dry fish and allow to boil.

  • Put your parboiled rice into the boiling mixture and stir then cover the pot and allow to cook.
