Hello friends

It's another beautiful week to express myself on this great topic... (Bare Feet).

Around me, when anyone walks on bare feet, the person is tagged local. But do you think it's true? I know of a white-garment church whose members walk barefoot to church—I mean, walking from their homes to the church—and I wonder, are they also local?

Do you like walking barefoot? Explain your reasons.

Oh! I enjoy walking barefoot because:

• It improves my posture, and it's suitable for my spine. I will explain: I go out every day with shoes on; there is no moment to exercise my feet. My feet have been in a shoe for hours; you know those moments when I walk with shoes; my posture is never balanced. My posture becomes balanced when I am on my bare feet, so I don't have to bend and walk or change my foot steps just to fit my shoes.
My spine, on the other hand, is being stressed out because of shoes, especially heels. Each time I wear heels, I feel discomfort around my spine area, and health-wise, it is not good. So walking barefoot is just what I enjoy doing regularly.

• It helps me relax. Yes, it does. For me, shoes are heavy loads, and when they are off, I relax easily without stress. Relaxing with shoes on is as good as wasting time because it adds stress to the body. Imagine going to the bathroom with your shoes on.

• It stretches my muscles. When the feet are folded inside a shoe, they don't stretch; they stay stagnant until they are released. But barefoot allows the muscles to be free; sometimes I walk and hear sounds from my feet, which means my muscles are stretching and relaxing.

• It restores my natural walking pattern. I tell you, barefoot is excellent. I can't stop laughing when I see ladies on heels with their amazing walking patterns..

How important is taking care of your feet?

Taking care of my feet is 100% as important as every other part of my body. Since I have a salon, I do my foot cleaning myself unless I want to be babied, then ask for help.

At times we neglect our feet because it is not always a noticeable part of the body, but my dad would always say, "if you want to know how neat a man is, check his feet and fingers." Since the day I heard it, I have always made sure I give attention to my feet at least once every 2 weeks because I fix my nails.

What do you think of the saying “Don't walk barefoot, parasites can get in”?

This saying could be true. Don't walk barefoot is what I hear from the internet mom of my days. While growing up, we walk barefoot to a distance, and nothing happens. There was nothing like, Don't walk barefoot. I think our parents enjoy it more when we are not in shoes. They allow us to feel nature with our feet.

Now, we have more bad soil, dirty drainage, and unfixed roads with portholes, so I think all these could contribute to our contacting a disease while walking barefoot.

What do you think of a world without shoes?

A world without a shoe would still be a world. The only thing is that people became wiser and understood the importance of foot wear. Our fathers had lived their lives without shoes, and then someone thought, "If we could get something to cover our feet, we could walk a distance in a short time. Ideas started flipping in.

The world without a shoe will only mean there is no progress in the world. It will mean God never wants us to move to the next level, but here we are enjoying the goodness of God.

If the world had remained the way God planned it (in the Garden of Eden), we wouldn't have any need for shoes.
