: My favorite meat recipe.''Chicken pulao"

Hi esteemed members of steen for Bangladesh hope you are doing great and blessed in your life I am also doing good. Today I am going to participate another contest that is organised by the wonderful community and the topic is really very nice that is my favourite meat recipedefinitely I love cooking so many recipes which are my favourite but the most favourite one is chicken pulao

Here i will show how i cooked it.

Ingredients needed

  • Chicken 500 grams
  • Rice 500 grams
  • onion 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Red chillies and green pepper as per taste
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Oil 2 tsp
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp

Cooking method

Step 1

I soaked the rice and properly washed the Chicken. Then i cut the onion and take pan added oil and onion in it. Turn on the flame and allowed to cook it till the time the color of onion tends to be changed.

Step 2

In next step when the color of onion get dark golden i added Chicken in it and cooked for two minutes on low medium flame till the time it started changes its color.

Step 3

When it changed its color i added ginger garlic paste and also tomatoes and cooked till the aroma came out. When the required color and aroma came i added spices and cumin seeds. Coverdd it and cooked for 5 minutes.

Step 4

When the oil came out i added water according to rice measurement that is three cup of water.
Allowed to cooked it till the water boiled.

Step 5

When the water started boiling i added drained rice in it the flame is towards medium to high. Cooked it till the water recuced in it.

Step 6

As the water recuced i lower down the flame and keep it for 15 minutes till the time it has been done and soften.

Why i like chicken pulao

It's one of the favourite dish of my family special my husband he love to eat it even if I cooked it on daily basis he never say no from eating it because it's simple and doesn't required much spices and taste is mind blowing.

Moreover, easy to cook and combination of protein and carbohydrates. I am in love to cook it and it is also famous in punjab and Pakistan everyone love it.
