Greetings dear friends,
How are you all my friends? I hope all of you are well by the grace of Almighty Allah. Alhamdulillah I am also well by God's grace and your love. It's been a week and I'm here with my next part. Here I am sharing the previous part Part 6 where I share some important information about PVA Geltank. Today I will discuss The importance of Aeration tank in the biological ETP plant. Besides I also discuss many more things. So friends let's start.
In this episode, I will share about the aeration tank of our biological ETP plant. The main function of the aeration tank is to increase the supply of oxygen in the water so that the bacteria inside the water can spread and work properly.
Bacteria need 24 hours of oxygen to keep alive which we provide through air blower machine. As a result, the bacteria dissolve microbes, chemical compounds, and other non-essential elements in the effluent. Also, these bacteria work to release the unpleasant gases in the aeration tank.
In this aeration tank, the waste water comes through the net set in the PVA Geltank and which is accumulated in aeration tank 1 and 2. And here this water stays for about 8 hours and during this time the bacteria here complete their activities.
Sludge return pump is used in our aeration tank, that is, the sludge that accumulates at the bottom after sedimentation is brought back to the aeration tank through the pump. These sludges contain bacteria so they are recycled here. Water purification is more effective when the amount of bacteria in the water is high.
Water temperature is controlled in aeration tank of our plant to prevent growth of harmful bacteria, pH, TDS, DO of water is checked regularly. And sensors are used in the tank to monitor the temperature and DO of the water at all times, with the help of which I can easily understand. The sensors used in the aeration tank are cleaned regularly to ensure that all readings are accurate. Aeration tank is a very important part of our ETP plant which plays an effective role in purifying the water well.
That's it for today. In the next part, I will discuss the next step in the Biological ETP plant's water purification process. Till then stay safe, stay healthy. Have a good day.
