Ingredients required for making Dudhpuli Pitha:
no | Ingredients | Quantity |
---|---|---|
1 | milk | 1liter |
2 | date mollasses | 500gm |
3 | rice powder | 1cup |
4 | flour | 1cup |
5 | grated coconut | 1cup |
6 | powder milk | 3 pac |
7 | semolina | half cup |
Step 1:
Put a pot on the stove and heat 1 cup of water. Add a little salt to the water. When the water boils, I will mix the rice powder and flour together and add it to the water. Reduce the heat of the stove and stir the flour well.
Then, I will keep the flour yeast for 10 minutes.
2nd Step:
In this step, I put a pot in the oven to make the pita pura. I added semolina to the pot, and after stirring it for some time, I added the grated coconut. Then I added date molasses. Now, I will mix all the ingredients. No need to add water. When the date molasses melts and becomes soft, I will shake it and make pita pur.
3rd Step:
In this step, I made a large loaf. Then, I cut small round loaves with a glass.
4th Step:
Now I filled the cut small breads. After filling the filling, I will close the mouth of the pitha very nicely. Then, I designed it with the help of a cut spoon. Do not put too much filling in the pitha. If you put too much filling, the mouth of the pitha will open.
5th Step:
At this stage, I put a pot of milk on the stove. Give two small pieces of cinnamon and cardamom. Then, when the milk boils, I will reduce the heat of the stove. Now, I will put the chopped date jaggery in the milk. Reduce the heat of the stove, and milk will not curdle.
Sixth Step:
After that, when the milk boils, I will leave the prepared pithas in the boiling milk. The pithas should be given one by one. When all the pithas are given, gently shake them with the help of a spoon so that they do not stick to the bottom of the pot.
7th Step:
After giving the pita, when the milk boils, I will cover the pot with a lid. I will cook it covered for 10 minutes. Then remove the lid and see that the pithas have floated. Now Dudhpuli pitha is ready.
