Hope everyone is fine. Engagement week is now underway and many communities have instructed us to participate in their challenges.

An engagement challenge contest is going on @Steem4Bangladesh community and I will present my opinion here as a contestant. This week's engagement challenge with a beautiful theme is how I take care of my precious things, then lose them.

So I will try to write each questing part of the engagement challenge step by step through this contest.

Engagement Challenge Season 10 Week 5: My Story of Losing a Precious Thing.

I lost something that was precious to me and my family at the time. Those things were very precious then, they were the shoes of all of us. Those shoes were stolen.

I brought shoes for everyone from India especially I brought two pairs of shoes for morning walk. The shoes were very comfortable.

I thought maybe I forgot the shoes inside the room, so I searched inside the room and found no shoes. In fact, our shoes were stolen. After talking to the caretaker, he said that many more shoes were stolen from the flat that day.

After losing the pair of shoes, I felt a lot of pain. I bought it from far away, but I couldn't buy it again even if I wanted to. Then I have to go to Kolkata again and it was a good shoe brand from Kolkata. It is not always possible to go outside the country. There is also a matter of money and time.

I got the shoes a week ago and they were perfect for morning walks. . I bought the shoes as a hobby and my favorite too. Since I was a diabetic patient and the first pair of walking shoes I bought. Again, I wear the shoes for a week and did a morning walk.

Every shoe of this brand is affordable, comfortable and durable. Whenever I go to Kolkata I try to collect new designs because Sri lather brand Kolkata is famous.

In fact, the first time you buy anything, whether it is cheap or expensive, there is an illusion. If it is used for everyday use and if it is lost or stolen, it is a little more trouble or grief.

And anything has a distinct feeling and love for the first one.

I looked all over the flat for them, but couldn't find them anywhere. Then I said to the caretaker, you go outside and search and see if you find anything.

He was taken, will he be around anymore, he stole everything and disappeared in a moment. If the thief is caught, there is no escape, so he was not found.

Later, I told the caretaker how thieves stole so many shoes in the flat while you were there. Where were you? Where did you leave the duty ? If you were near the gate, there would be no more theft.

Caretaker's statement was that he cannot do 24 hours duty, he may have some personal problem. So the flat community decided to hire one more person. If there are two people, you can spend 8 hours. Then there will be no problem.

As my favorite shoes were stolen, it was very difficult for me to walk in the morning because without comfortable shoes, I cannot walk properly, my feet are a problem. I had started morning walk to keep my body healthy. So when I go to Kolkata again, I bring two more pairs.

Then I put the shoe rack inside the room. No more shoes were stolen after that.

Apart from my shoes, my son's favorite bicycle was stolen from this flat. So to prevent these thefts I and our flat owner community were forced to take some steps and the steps were –

• First, I put my shoe rack inside the room, so that no one can steal it. Moreover, no one can make stolen from inside the room.

• We employ two caretakers, the work of two people is fixed for 8 hours. As a result, if one is on duty, the other can take rest. Then no one can leave the duty and go to personal problems. When one person's duty is over, another person can join the duty after finishing all his work.

• Now is the digital age, anything can be recorded. So we install CCTV cameras in our building so that if someone comes to hide and steal, it will be recorded. Every day there will be a record of those who come and go in the building. If there is something suspicious, it can be identified by looking at the recording footage. When the thief sees the CCTV camera installed before stealing, he will leave without stealing.

• Today is the world of technology, people are moving forward by using technology. So CC cameras are now being installed in every house and every place like hospitals, offices, schools, markets and every important place or road. As if something is missing or there is any accident, the recording footage of the CCTV camera will know the immediate incident.

Because of these CCTV cameras, people are reluctant to do many illegal activities because everyone's actions are recorded.

Finally, I will say that every person has some favorite things, it doesn't matter whether it is cheap or expensive. We initially become a little vulnerable to that first purchase. None of us can accept that something we once loved so much can be lost. So we suffer a lot.

Man is the best creature in creation, when man is not eternal, the thing of choice is worthless.

So we will always take care of our precious things seriously whether it is a document or a loved object or living being.
