Driving rules and precautions.

Assalamu Alaikum to the readers.

Many drive their own cars. There are many professional drivers. Many people have started driving on Uber service these days. However, due to the lack of proper posture and carelessness while driving, many times spine and neck problems occur. Professional drivers who drive for long hours are more prone to such problems. Many people are forced to quit their jobs or lose their livelihood due to spinal problems. So here are some suggestions for those who are sitting in the driving seat.

■ Sit properly
Adjust the seating area. The most important command center in the car is where you can drive in a fatigue-free and comfortable position. For this, keep the reclining part slightly bent back to keep enough space and coordination between the two legs.

Leaning both shoulders forward while driving can cause various types of pain and problems. For that, use a support or soft pillow on the shoulders and lower back or waist. Keep your hands on the steering wheel, and don't rest your hands on it for too long.

■ Do not sit on the wallet
Don't sit with your wallet in your back pocket. It may put pressure on the lower body and make you uncomfortable.

■ Adjust the steering wheel
Adapt the rotation, speed, and direction of the steering wheel to the position of both your shoulders, elbows, and wrists. Using the steering wheel in the same position too often can tire your hands, causing joint pain. Chest muscles may become weak.

■ Fix car mirrors
Adjust the outside mirrors to your line of sight so that you can see up to 180 degrees behind you. Also, adjust the position of the inner mirror as per convenience. Do it in such a way that you can see without turning your neck too much.

■ Take breaks on long journeys
Take rest every two hours. It relaxes the muscles of the body, and blood circulation is normal.

■ Get complete rest after the trip
After the trip, do some stretching exercises. It will reduce the stiffness of your muscles, ligaments, and tendons.

❄️Thank you❄️
