Today I participated in the Innovation mastermind organized by Bangladesh Textile Today, which is very effective. Bangladesh is in the middle of the 4th industrial revolution. We are continuing to bring more robotics to our textile industry. Our textile industry has to keep pace with the global market. We need to get out of man power or analog system.
Bangladesh is sustaining the economic balance of Bangladesh by exporting manufactured garments. In the financial year 2022 - 2023, Bangladesh has taken the first place in the world by exporting RMG, which has made a very effective contribution in the current context of Bangladesh.
Today 11.08.2023 at 9 am Textile Today organized a program of Textile Hunt Innovation mustermine. Bangladesh Textile Today founder & CEO Engr. Md. Tareq Hossain.
In the current context, to sustain Bangladesh textile industry, how China, Vietnam, Japan, Russia are ahead in terms of technology. Compared to that, Bangladesh textile industries are far behind. But why??
I never questioned myself. Which is enough to hold back the textile industry of our unique country. We need to get out of this backwardness. And for that we need technology upgrade Manual work places are over come and we are going to Robotics system. We employ 10 workers to do the work that one robot can do. Which greatly increases the labor cost. Industry owners have to bear the suffering. As a result of this, as production decreases on one side, production cost increases on the other side. So we have to come out of this problem. Then we can keep our industry in sync with the world.An example came to mind. If your competitor is racing to pass you, you have to race too. If you can't run then you have to try to keep up with your competitors even if you crawl. In fact if you want to keep up with your competitors you have to try to do something different from them. That's why Bangladesh textile industry needs to be more technology based.
Industrial robotics system should be introduced in every section of production. Then we can sustain our textile industry in the world market. Otherwise it is not possible to survive in any way.
