What profession did you dream of joining as a child and why?
When I was 7 my dream was to becoming medical doctor by then I s o much have passion for it and with the little knowledge I had I was actually thinking that doctors are the most wealthy who live long on earth because the take care of themselves and there family as well. So I was willingly to become a medical doctor when I grow up so that I can take good care of my mother and the rest of my family members too.
I remember how I promise my mother that when I become a medical doctor I will make sure she will never get sick again and I'm going to use my hands to give her treatment.
What are the reasons behind that dream not being fulfilled? And if the dream has been fulfilled, are you now involved in your dream profession?
Right I'm not involved in that because it comes to my notice that I'm not good at that part at all so if focus myself to study it I will finally end with nothing and also when people see me trying to make a carton house or creating something with paper the will be surprised and sometimes when the ask me what I want to become in future and I will tell them I want to become a medical doctor, the will laugh at me saying I should not kill someone in the hospital.
One day a teacher bring an idea and said he want to help us understand how to achieve our future dreams, I was very interested in it so he start by asking us what we want to be profession at in future we all tell him our choice after that he ask us to tell him what we are really good at doing, so in the process I told him I'm good at crafting he laugh and advice me to leave medical doctor and look for something close to crafting, that was when I realized the reason people laugh at me when ever I tell them I want to become a medical doctor and that was how I change my mind and choose fashion designer.

I'm very much comfortable with my current profession, I'm just lucky I did not go ahead with my childhood dreams, by now I don't I believe I would have given up because naturally I don't like seeing blood especially injury that I prevent myself from getting injure .
But being a designer is one of the best thing that have ever happen to me, you know I enjoy creativity and I bring it to reality by putting it in my profession.
conclusion
Sometimes childhood dreams is just something you we like but it not our feed and we may just claim it to ourselves saying it what we want to become.
There's one musician in my country Nigeria his parents push him to law school because they feel that was the best for him but he graduated and become a musician the funny part is that he is very good in rap but he wasted over seven (7) years in law school and finally become a musician.
