Hope you all are well by God's grace.I'm fine too. Today I am going to share with you the journey by bus from Dhaka to Khulna.so let's get started.
First day from Dhaka to Khulna
The journey by bus from Dhaka to Khulna is approximately 260-280 kilometers and can take around 7-8 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the specific route taken. Buses typically depart from various bus terminals in Dhaka, such as Gabtoli or Kallyanpur, and arrive at the Khulna bus terminal. It's a good idea to check the bus schedules and book your ticket in advance to ensure a smooth journey.
I left for Khulna from Malibagh by Shohagh Paribahan, one of the most reputed buses in Bangladesh. On Saturday after finishing some small work in office I was out by noon. A bus was supposed to leave for Khulna at 4:45 but unfortunately I didn't catch that bus. So I was waiting for the next bus, the next bus was at 5:45 but due to the traffic jam, the bus arrived around 6:00. Then I boarded the bus sat down with my set and the bus left around 6:35.On the way to Khulna, now we use Padma Bridge, before we used to cross through Aricha Ghat or Mawa Ghat. Due to Padma Bridge, our time to go home has reduced a lot. Now we can arrive early.I stopped at a petrol pump in Gopalganj on the way. But due to heavy rain I did not get off the bus. A brother was sitting on the seat next to me and I fell asleep talking to him.I got off the bus at Shibbari intersection in Khulna and it was 11:15 pm. It was raining lightly.
I took a rickshaw from Shibbari Mor and went straight to Jailkhana Ghat and then crossed the river in a trawler. After crossing the river, I took a van and went straight home. It was around 12:00 when I reached home.Then after freshening up I fell asleep.
Return day from Khulna to Dhaka
I stayed in Khulna for about two days. It rained well in Khulna both days though there was a little difficulty in working. Anyway, I bought an AC bus ticket from Imad Paribahan for Tk 750 to return from Khulna to Dhaka. The day I was returning from Khulna to Dhaka was 15th. Monday. My journey from Khulna Royal Junction to Dhaka Gulistan.
I left home early in the morning to go to Dhaka.The bus in which I will come to Dhaka left Khulna at 10:45. Our route to Dhaka was Khulna-Gopalganj-Dhaka.On arrival we had to cross the river so I took some pictures of our river.
The river was full of water due to the tide and the weather was a beautiful blue sky with light clouds.Anyway, on the way, stopped for lunch at a petrol pump. Got off the bus and had some light food, although there was no place to eat heavy food. After the lunch break, our bus started again for Dhaka.
After having a light meal in the afternoon I fell asleep inside the bus and woke up to find that I had entered Dhaka. After some time I got off the bus in front of Gulistan Baitul Mukarram Masjid.Then from there I took another bus to my home and got fresh and took a nap.
