This jaggery was also gifted to Queen Elizabeth of England. Even Queen Elizabeth fell in love with this molasses. The Queen of Britain visited Dhaka and was impressed by this date juice's delicious taste and aroma. Rani was overwhelmed by jaggery and gave a brass seal written 'Hazari'!

Even people from different classes and professions in at least 20 countries are eager to taste this jaggery. So when the winter season comes, Manikganj becomes an industrial area due to Hazari jaggery. The main feature of the famous Hazari Jaggery is that when it is crushed with both hands and blown, it flies like cotton in the wind. This tradition is not for two days; About 200 years.

Every year during the winter season, date trees become an industry. Professional gardeners and homemakers are making this famous molasses from date palm juice. After winter's onset, the Gachiras prepare this Hazari jaggery from date palm juice in a unique process for the next three months.

Winter days mean pitha pies with jaggery made from pure date juice. And if it is the "Hazari Gur" of Manikganj, then there is no question! Unparalleled "Hazari Gur" with its enticing taste and mind-blowing aroma.

Hazari jaggery is different from normal patali jaggery. Common jaggery is red. The color of Hazari Jaggery is white. When you put it in your mouth, it begins to melt right away. It can break even with light hand pressure. Currently, Hazari Jaggery is being sold at 1800 to 2000, Steem 100 to 111, and Trx 225 to 250 per kg.

The district's branding has been named "Jhitkar Hazari Jaggery" as an official recognition of the traditional "Hazari Jaggery.

The exception may seem to be made from the juice of a natural source, "Hazari Gur"! No, ordinary date palm juice is the source of this "Hazari Gur." But there is an actual process in making molasses, starting from extracting the plant sap. Although many things have changed occasionally, the process of making "Hazari Gur" has not changed.

The demand for Hazari jaggery is so high that orders are placed months before the jaggery is made. Many people come from far and wide with cars to collect jaggery. But jaggery cannot be made like before. That is because the number of date trees has decreased compared to before. The need for more special fuel to burn juice is also a factor.

Without the Hazari family's permission, no one else can even make Hazari jaggery. After the jaggery, the patali is sealed with the Hazari brand. Only those with permission can use this seal.
