It's my pleasure to write my first post in this community. I'll be participating in the contest "write a letter to whom you want to say thank you or sorry to". Special thanks to @ripon0630 for the wonderful opportunity.
I want to say sorry to this friend I used to have, his name is Nomsy. Saying sorry now won't change anything because we've drifted too far away from each other. Too far to go back to how things used to be. If only I could see him face to face, definitely I would love to say sorry in person. I invite @mmakan, @bossj23 and @usoro01 to try out this contest.

It's a pleasure to write this letter to you. Been about five years since we last spoke to each other. How are you? I hope all is well. I heard you moved to Imo State a few years ago. I've missed you alot. I realized I don't even have your contact. Sad.
I'm writing this letter to say sorry for everything I did. I remember vividly the alteration we had the last time, it was all my fault. Sad how we went from being best friends to strangers. I'm sorry.
Remember the good old days when we used to do alot of things together, when we ate, played and read together. Remember when we got punished for jumping the school fence😅, remember how we cheated in most exams and the wrong things we did. Although I regret doing those wrong things, the fact I did them with you make these memories special. Among good memories, there are also bad memories. I remember how we started drifting apart. I think it was when Desmond came around. I became close to him and neglected you, the icing on the cake was when we quarreled just before our school leaving exams. Funny part of everything is, I can't even remember the reason for the quarrel that's why I'm disappointed in myself. Once again, I'm sorry.
No matter what I say, things can't go back to the way they were before. It's one of the lessons I've learned in life, I've learned never to take my friends for granted. I've learnt to love my friends and cherish them. I wish you all the best in your endeavors and even though we are not close to each other right now, you remain my BEST FRIEND.
