Hi there steemians my steemit username is @radleking and I'm so delighted to welcome you all to my blog today I hope all is well and you all are enjoying your day.
INTRODUCTION
Today I will be taking part in a contest organised by @ripon0630 with the theme "My Favorite Username" in the steem for Bangladesh community and to be sincere I really like the idea behind this contest since it has to do with identity 🆔 and since some of us aren't using are real names here.
So in my today's entry I will be sharing with you all the user I would like to use if I'm opportune to change my username here on steemit also if my current username matches my real name, why I'd selected this username in the first place and lastly if I'm using this username on other platforms.
IF YOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE YOUR STEEMIT USERNAME, WHAT NAME WOULD YOU CHOOSE TO KEEP?
If I'm opportune to change my steemit username I sincerely do not think that I would because the username which I'm currently using is quite okay with me and it has been my nickname for some time now even before I became a steemian.
And generally speaking I really like the name because it really suits my personality just fine and I wouldn't change it even if I'm being given the opportunity to.
DOES YOUR CURRENT USERNAME MATCH YOUR REAL NAME?
Nope, my real name is John Emmanuel on the other hand my username is @radleking meanwhile a lot of people always derived their username from their real name maybe so that there can easily remember them or maybe their real name is too long so the set it as a short cut to their names.
WHY DID YOU SELECT THIS USERNAME WHEN CREATING YOUR ACCOUNT?
Like they say there's always a reason for everything and a lot of steemians have their own personal reasons of using their current usernames today some of which may be their nicknames, a short cut to their names and sometimes some of them were out of options and just keying in the first thing that pops into their mind.
But for me why I'd selected this my current username is because it has always been my nickname since I'd graduated from secondary school and it's also my username on so many other platforms online and even my Instagram and Facebook page username.
So I definitely have a lot of reasons in selecting @radleking to be my steemit username and another thing is that it represents royalty & respect.
ARE YOU USING YOUR CURRENT USERNAME ON OTHER PLATFORMS, OR IS IT ONLY FOR STEEMIT?
Yes just like I've said earlier I am currently using my current username on other social medias even way before I even became a steemian as you can see that is my Instagram profile and you can see that my username there is the same as the one I'm using here on steemit.
CONCLUSION
This is way I will conclude my entry and once again I will like to add that the type of username we'd choose depends solely on what we want it may be by our real names, nicknames, special numbers etc which ever it may be it's all our choice.
