So that the cowshed can be dry and the excrement can be cleaned well. Goshalas should be constructed in such a way that there is ample light-air circulation and to control rain water, heat, humidity etc. Cows should feel safe in the cowshed. The cowshed needs to be a little bigger.
Use of hay
Cattle are fed paddy straw. Farmers purchase hay from the market at a fair price to feed their cows.
Straw is also used as fuel in villages.Fish feed is made from straw.
Ponds can produce plants and animals by adding straw to the water.
There is no need to simply burn straw or throw it away as trash.
Cutting grasses, vines, legumes and other herbs for use as animal feed using haystacks is a resource-saving technique. It preserves vines or grasses and dries them.
Method of preservation
Traditionally, farmers piled hay. which is referred to as a haystack. It is produced by farmers for their farm or domestic animals. A piece of any thin tree, or a piece of betel nut or bamboo, can be used to make a pile.
There are two ways to make a haystack. High haystacks are usually made of wood or bamboo raised just above the ground. After this, straw is spread on a mat around a piece of bamboo or wood buried in the ground.
