Potato Charchari with Kachki Chutki.(কাচকি শুটকি দিয়ে আলুর চর্চরি)

Assalamualaikum Best wishes to all. I am back with a recipe post. My today's menu is Potato Charchari with Kachki Fish Shutki. We all like Shutki more or less. Many people don't even like it. Can't stand its smell either. I used to not like the smell of dry cleaners either. If someone was cooking in the house next door, the smell was not good at all. But I used to like Shutki Bharta since long. Maybe you will laugh when you hear that I don't like the smell but I like it. Yes, it's funny, but the truth is that Shutki's filling is my favorite. But I can't eat too much salt. Medium is a bit better for me. Whenever someone goes to the sea area, my husband asks him to bring dry food. In this way, it can be said that the amar keeps the dry kit in the house throughout the year. Especially any curries of Shutki are preferred by my husband more than me. It is almost home cooked for him. My husband went on tour from office to sea area for 3 days. He also brought something dry from there. Bringing it home, he said that he would eat potatoes with dry beans to cook. So me and mom got ready to cook together. I went to the kitchen. I soaked the dried fruits in water for some time. The dirt and smell in it is removed a lot. After soaking for 10-15 minutes, a few washes are required.

There is no sand to go. Because there is a lot of sand in the dryer. Then cut the potato into small pieces in another place. The potatoes should be washed. Then the onions and peppers should be cut. If you add more onions to the curry, the food will be more fun. Then in a pan, lightly fry the chutkis. After roasting, keep the dried fruits in another container.

After that, put the chopped potatoes in a pan and mix them with onion, pepper, a little cumin, some black cumin, turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, garlic paste, oil, and 1 bay leaf. Then add 1 cup of light water. After that, I will put the pen in the oven. When the curry boils, I will pour the dried fish. I will shake it lightly.

I will cover with a lid. Now I will wait for the water to dry. When the broth is dry, stir the curry and put it down. But the curry should be dried at once. Aloo charchari with dried fish is ready.
