Betterlife - The Diary Game | 22 August, 2023 | Excessive greed became the cause of many people's loss.
Another rainy day. I felt good when I woke up to the sound of heavy rain, but that feeling didn't last long. I felt a little sad when I saw the morning news paper. Now with the online portal, I don't have to read the newspaper for news anymore. But for my father, the newspaper is taken to our house every day.
Suddenly, I noticed news highlighted on the front page of the paper. A trading app has embezzled a lot of money from the people of Bangladesh and some other countries in South Asia. After reading the whole report, I was a bit upset as many people lost their precious money.
Greed leads people to destruction. Without any inquiry, so many people invested their precious money in this fraud app in the hope of extra profit and suffered losses. People should never be greedy because the Almighty has decided before the creation of the world who will earn how much money in their lifetime.
However, I saw that it was still raining outside. I wanted to wait for the rain to stop, but I could not see any possibility of the rain stopping. So I went out with my umbrella without delay.
As the road in our area is a bit low, it gets submerged under water in light rains. Due to the regular movement of big trucks to carry goods from the ship yard through this road and the road has become very broken. While going to our shop, I noticed that the entire road was under water due to continuous rain.
I finished my work at our business shop before noon and returned home. Most of the time, my mother cooks biryani on rainy days because everyone likes to eat biryani on rainy days. So, we all had biryani for lunch.
While having snacks in the afternoon, my mother told me that there was a small amount of biryani left over that was cooked for lunch. And if it is kept outside for too long, there is a possibility of it spoiling, so I ate the leftover biryani for an afternoon snack.
Then I noticed that the rain had stopped. The surrounding weather was very cold. So I thought, Let's take a walk on the beach behind our house.
The beach is 5 minutes away from our house. Other times, this beach is very dirty because there are many ship recycling industries near it. But after the rain, the beach looked very clean and beautiful. I stayed there till sunset and enjoyed a wonderful view.
After enjoying the sunset, I returned home. Then I completed some tasks I had and. Other days, before going to sleep, I watch different videos or tutorials on YouTube. But today I want to listen to some music.
So I put my buds in my ears and entered my favorite playlist. I listened to music for a while. While listening to the song, I remembered one of my favorite actors, Paul Walker, because I was listening to his movie songs.
These were my activities for today. One last line: please don't invest your valuable money in any fraud app without understanding or being lured by someone; because there is a possibility that you will be cheated. Thank you all for reading my post.
