📢 Contest - How is Labour Day celebrated in your country? || By @sadiaafreen

Assalamu Alaikum Everyone

First I want to talk about labor and workers. Labor is the measure of the performance of any work by a human being. Labor is generally of 2 types. And that is, both mental and physical. Among the peripheral labor, the work the technician or engineer does in return for remuneration is also labor. Nowadays, mental and physical labor is given in many ways for earning.
Labor is provided in two ways: direct and indirect labor. And in this way, the people or persons who work are called workers.

“How is Labour Day celebrated in your country?”

As far as I know, May is observed as Labor Day. Ever since the independence of our country, the month of May or May Day, which is called Labor Day, has been celebrated as a public holiday. Which we all observe on May 1 as "International Workers' Day". And our dear admin @ripon0630 bhaiya has organized a wonderful competition on this beautiful topic. The topic is,
“How is Labour Day celebrated in your country?”
I am trying to write something on this topic from my little knowledge.

✅ How is Labour Day celebrated in your country?

My country is Bangladesh. Labor Day is celebrated a little differently in Bangladesh. May Day or Labor Day is a public holiday in our country. Various public and private organizations and organizations celebrate the day through various cultural events.

Various public and private organizations and organizations celebrate the day through various cultural events. Like, my office used to celebrate. On the occasion of this Labor Day, the President and the Prime Minister give speeches in various meetings or gatherings. A variety of activities including processions, cultural programs, labor rallies, seminars, and discussion meetings are held.

✅ Are workers in your country getting fair wages? How's their life?

In my opinion, workers in some parts of our country are not getting fair wages. First of all, I want to talk about the tea workers. Their remuneration is less than the work done.

But, after the agitation among the tea workers of our country, the issue of their low wages came to the notice of the Bangladesh government. And the amount of daily remuneration is slightly increased.
There is a record of paying less than the wages set by the Bangladesh government in some places.

All in all, the life of low-income workers is very difficult. With these low wages with current market goods, their standard of living has become difficult.

While the wages of workers in the garment sector have increased, wages in all other sectors have lagged. Brick kiln workers, petrol pump workers, hotel workers, soil workers, home workers, and many other workers are living a difficult life due to the current market inflation, rise in food prices, and other things.

✅ Are there any special events organized in your community on the occasion of Labor Day? do you attend them?

A special event has been organized in our beloved community "Steem For Bangladesh" community on the occasion of Labor Day. And we all know that our dear admin @ripon0630 bhaiya organized a wonderful contest.

Yes, of course, I am happily trying to share in the "Labor Day" goodies. I must have participated to say something about the workers for whom our Bangladesh survives.

✅ Share your inspiring ideas for honoring the contributions of workers in your community.

To honor the contribution of our "Steem For Bangladesh" community workers, I would like to say this inspirationally that everyone should be kind, generous, courteous, and helpful to everyone. Evaluating and taking into account each other's opinions.
There is another important point, "Always respect each other. Because I always believe that respect earns respect.

"No one can ever take someone's sustenance." One time or another, it will come, In-Shah-Allah!

I am inviting my three Steemit friends here, @jollymonoara api, @kashfeya, and @mdraselmia.
