📢 Contest - Share your experience about fasting

Salam to all friends

How are you all? Hope everyone will be fine by the grace of Allah Almighty. I am also fine and enjoying good health. I like to talk about my religion and different things related to religion. In this post and in this contest I will like to share different things regarding the fast because we all know that we are enjoying Ramzan month nowadays.

Have I had fast ever?

There are total 12 Islamic months of year and there are two months of the whole year which I like the most and Ramzan is the first one which is my favourite. Ramzan is my favourite month because in this month we see a lot of changes in the people.

In this month every Muslim either he focus on the worshipping of Allah or not , starts to focus on the worship of Allah because he knows that there are a lot of blessings that Allah gives to us in this month and this is the beauty of month that all muslims comes towards their real life. I also avail the opportunity of having a lot of prayers and for fulfilling my wishes that's why I never missed any fast in this month.

Rules that I follow during fast

💫 First of all I want to share the timings of The fast and fast starts from the time of sunrise and fast timing and at the sunset.

💫 Second thing is very important and it is about the spending the time of fast with good things like having all prayers and reciting holy Quran.

💫 Third thing is also important and it is about the following of the good deeds and take care of needy people and learns how to have patience.

💫 Islam is not a strict religion so if you are unwell then there is an exception that if you are not in a condition to accomplish the fast so it's not compulsory in this case.

💫 If you talk about sunah that we should follow at sehr time and at Iftar time is to start our meal with that least one date.

Can fasting works as medicine for body?

I can say this that fasting is working as a good medicine for the body because according to the research in one year we should choose a month in which we don't eat much and try to adopt a practice like fast just for a month in year. This is a research that we know today but Islam is a very old religion but still with new facts.

💫 We know that obesity is the root cause of many diseases that's why if we remain good in our diet in the month of Ramzan then it can be very helpful for losing our extra weight and hence moves us away from a lot of dangerous diseases.

💫 Stomach health also remained very maintained during fasting but if we avoid junk foods as it is trending in my country that act Iftar time there are a lot of junks that people are making in their homes but this should not be done.

💫 Fasting act as a medicine by improving your overall body metabolism because if your body metabolism will not be good then no matters how much good diet you are taking so metabolism goodness is much important then taking a good diet.

What are the physical and mental changes in myself due to fasting?
Physical change

💫Physical change that I have observed in myself after fast is that I feel myself more active because when you get up early in the morning daily then getting up early makes you active for the whole day.

💫Other physical change after fasting is that I feel myself more fit then before fasting.

Mental change

Mental change I have also observed in myself after fast and it was a feeling of more relaxment in myself. Because fast also keeps you away from extra salts for the whole day that's why cause a maintenance in your blood pressure and hence keeps you relaxed mentally.

What things about which I should be careful during fast?

There are different things about which not only me all should be very careful during the fast and some of the things I want to share here.

Things should be avoided in fast

💫 We should know do such an act during our fast due to which we have a doubt that it will disturb the fasting.

💫 We should avoid having bad things as we did many things in our normal life like back biting and many other things like this which are against the moral values.

💫 If I talk about Iftar then I have already told that there is a traditional in my country to have a lot of things in Iftar time and specially only things are present at every table of Iftar in every home almost so this thing should also be avoided because these things don't make you healthy and spoil all the benefits of having fast.
