This is my participation in a contest Save Youth from Drug Addiction organized in Steem For Bangladesh by @ripon0630.
Drugs addiction is the serious issue these days, especially youth is involved in it. This thing is now penetrated into school, colleges and universities. Both male and female and being targeted. Let's go through some major reasons, why people are using drugs these too much.
What do you think are the main reasons for youth to become addicted to drugs? |

There are several reasons behind youth drugs addiction. Some common reasons are: stress, study pressure, mental health issues (trauma or tragedy), lack of guardians supervision, easy access and availability of drugs. These are the most common reasons why a person become drugs addicted.
Taking drugs is always fun for them, but it has a terrific and tragic end. Mostly people start it just to keep their mind chill, but they don't know it's consequences. These drugs then lead them to death.
What is the extent of drug addiction in your society? Do you think it's important to prevent drug addiction among youth? |

It's very threatening to see the increasment of drugs addiction in youth. Not only in our country, but it's the issue with the whole world. Everywhere this issue is increasing day by day. In our society a great number of students are being effected with it. It's quite said to say that a large number of them are female.
It's prevention is as important as oxygen for us. Ofcourse it should be eradicated from our societies, indeed the whole world. It should be condemned at all the state and universal forams. The drugs dealers should be jailed. There should be a harsh and tough punishment for the guilties. State should use all the power to control it.
How can you encourage them to make healthy choices and what steps do you think would be effective to save them? |

Their should awareness amoung the people. It is the duty of the state to create such seminars for the youth, at school, colleges and universities. This act should be discourage at all cost. If I ever see someone taking drugs, I will tell him it's harsh consequences, will tell him how it can first effects his health and then life. I think if someone is told it's harmful, he/she might get lesson from it. It is possible he can quit it.

| Government organization and non governmental organization should organize awareness seminars. |
| All the big organization should recognize this issue. They should give a proper solution for it. |
| Youth should be given facilities of sports. It will keep them busy there. They will not go for drugs. |
| Drugs Mafia should be stopped. They all should be jailed. |
| Strict punishment should be announced to the oppressor. |
I think adopting these things will help us up to some extent to control this serious issue in our society.
