SEC-S10W3: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

This is my participation in a contest SEC-S10W3: Teamwork Makes The Dream Work organized in Steem for Bangladesh community by @steem4bangladesh.

This blog is about the importance of team work that how team work makes impossible, possible. What are the tactics one should adopt doing team work. My experience in a team work, and how you show yourself in a group of your team.

What does the phrase "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work" mean to you?

What obstacles did you face in working as a team?

Is it possible that a person can achieve more by engaging in teamwork than individually? explain.

This phrase recall me a famous proverb, "Unity is strength". I think these two phrases are the synonyms or twin phrases. Both have similarities in their meaning.

"Teamwork makes dream work" I m completely agree with idea. If you have your team with you doing something you can turn impossible to possible. The great advantage of teamwork is that, you have multiple minds with multiple ideas there with you. Their is a chance someone can present an idea which will make the task for the whole of the group.

In teamwork if their is one group leader, and all other are following him, it makes the job very easy. It's even an Islamic concept. Our Holy Prophet (SAW) says: if you are in group, always choose one amoung you as a leader for you". The leader will keep harmony and discipline amoung the group members. So over all we can say that Teamwork is obviously a DreamWork.

I am a sportsman. I have a experience of teamwork, both as a leader and as a team member. I have been a college cricket team captain for two years. I have another great experience which I want to share here with you guys.

After my FSc I have appeared for commission test at Pak army. I have done with all the initial tests, and interviews. I reached to Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB), which is the final test. There they examine you for three to four days. In these days you have to go through different interviews and different tasks. Their is a task by the name of Command task. In command task they give you a group of four people and appointed you as a leader. You have to perform different tasks, and if you passed that command task you will be given points for it. We were total twelve members in our team and they give each 4 boys for their command task. In the whole team of twelve candidates I was the only one to complete that command task.

In working as team the great hurdle which I think is a selfish team member. If you have only one selfish member in your team, he will spoil everything. I am greatly offended working with selfish people.

The second one is lazy team member. I am sure you have experienced such a character in your practical life. That person always hide himself of hardwork or risky job. He always wants to be at rest.

The next in the list is Faineant. Who always pretend to be the most brave and strong one, but when it's time to perform he hides himself in the mob. He always makes excuses; he is ill, he is unfit, he is not in mood and something like this.

According to me these are all the hurdles which don't let a team work, to be a dream dream work.

Team work is the name of cordination, corporation, help and support. It is obvious one can achieve more in team work rather than individually. Both in physical and mental work you will have greater chances of achieving your goal.

Let's suppose take an example of students. If they are not nt understanding a chapter of their Bio Book. They make a group of 5 people and distribute the topic to learn it from whatever source. Each student come up with their prepared topics and parenting them to other. I am sure they can learn the whole chapter only in one day. If they learned it individually it may take them 3 to 4 days.

In physical work team work result is obvious to be more accurate and fast. A single man can't beat a team of 6 people in physical work.
