Assalamu Alaikum, How are you all. Hope you all are well. I am also good with your prayers. I am @shiftitamanna. Today I am very excited because I am first participating in a new @steem4bangladesh community competition. I'm very excited to be participating in a contest for the first time on Steemit. This year's weekly competition theme is "I am a teacher." Since I am responsible for my younger brother's education, I am presenting the importance of education and teaching.
I am a tutor as I teach my younger brother. My younger brother studies in class One. I teach him like all responsible teachers because teachers are not only school and college teachers but also parents. Because a child's first emotional development education starts with his parents.
I do not teach for a living.
However, I have passed the Bangladesh Teacher Registration Examination and am a certificate holder.
So, even if I do not teach in any institution, my first moral responsibility as a parent or teacher is to make the student suitable for formal education by imparting good teaching.
Every task in life is like a huge challenge. Teaching is a noble and challenging job. Nowadays, as digital and innovative learning has entered the education sector, the role of teachers in teaching has increased manifold. A teacher today has to face this challenging task of adapting to innovations and advancements in medical science, social norms, etc. Therefore, improving a student's skills and knowledge by imparting proper teaching is a top priority and a significant challenge for a teacher. The challenges faced as a teacher are:
- As a teacher, I know my students well.
- To understand the student's ability to learn to read and his ability.
- To deal with the stress of students when they do not perform well in exams and to motivate and encourage them to study.
- To create a better communication channel between students and parents so that they can share their desire and reluctance regarding their studies with the parents.

A stimulating and comfortable environment plays a significant role in removing students' negative attitudes toward education. There are many ways to create a stimulating and supportive environment in education.
I will only say unwanted words while teaching to distract his attention. I can continue my education in a calm environment.

Today's children have to pursue various professional activities in the field of education to enhance their skills. It is necessary to undertake some professional activities to increase creativity and innovative study spirit. I must have enough knowledge as a teacher because children learn from adults. Therefore, I must first have basic knowledge about the subject I will teach, academics or etiquette. Things to do to enhance the professional activities of a teacher are:
- To continue teaching, you must increase your experience and skills.
- Must participate in any professional organization.
- Improving professional performance in teaching.
- Taking professional development courses.
- To inform about the role of parents towards child education.
We must know how far the institutions have achieved international standards in the educational system in addition to the existing quality in the education sector of Bangladesh and how expensive it has been to improve the quality of higher education because the economy of Bangladesh is at a unique stage in its progress, which is improving the quality of our country's education system. But as the country's education system is improving, its cost is increasing daily. Generally, most students in Bangladesh come from middle-class families. Their parents bear the cost of their education. However, the government has taken special initiatives to reduce the expenditure on education for students from poor and middle-class families.
- The government is providing free textbooks and learning materials to improve the quality of education and enable poor children to read.
- Providing scholarships to deserving students.
- Various universities provide scholarships for higher education.
- To eliminate disparity in the education sector, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh provides various scholarships, stipends, and grants to poor and meritorious students from special government funds so that they can continue their studies.
One neglected area in the education sector is higher education. Considering the international level, it can be seen that in the light of various theoretical research and surveys, it has been discussed that increasing the state allocation in the higher education sector to achieve the economic goals and implement the SDG development will play an indispensable role for the study and workplace of the country's students.
