Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all? I hope you are well. "Is pride the main cause of man's downfall" can be said in the sense that pride is a veil of the human mind which covers human virtues. Humans differ from other animals because of their human qualities and The best creature in creation. Pride drives people to engage in destructive activities. As well as the process of time brings poverty. As a result, the person's greatness is covered with a veil. So I thank dear brother @msharif for bringing the exciting competition between us. I am here today to share my views by participating in meaningful discussions on today's competition, "Ego is the root of the fall." Let's start today's main discussion.
The causes of arrogance are lack of knowledge, family education, abuse of power, violence, excess wealth, etc.

A person who behaves excessively proud and obnoxious in front of people is arrogant. And they feel more important. An arrogant person tends to be competitive rather than congratulating someone. A person who thinks others is fools thinks himself wise and is busy with other people's mistakes to cover his big mistakes. When he gets more than he deserves, he becomes arrogant. When modesty is reduced in words and actions, pride takes place.

Pride is a bad quality and is characteristic of Satan. Whose He who is proud will not enter Paradise. It is arrogant to belittle people by ignoring the truth. Some signs of low pride are given - 👇:
- claiming superiority,
- rejecting the truth,
- thinking of oneself as self-sufficient,
- showing greatness in walking,
- belittling someone,
- spoiling the rights of others by exerting influence,
- undue insistence,
- creating pressure on others, etc.

It is not arrogance, but confidence that makes people great. Arrogant people are very abominable natured. In fact, it is a deadly disease of the soul. This not only corrupts the moral character of people but also leads them away from the path of truth and to the path of error. So people should not brag about anything because pride destroys people. Whoever wants to be proud, Allah will humiliate him. So it is not suitable to be arrogant. One should not hate people with low incomes. Their rights need to be guaranteed.

In this Steemit platform, I can't think of anyone as arrogant because I never think of myself as big. I am in awe of the tireless work, enthusiasm, and drive behind bringing me to this stage on this platform. They are truly wise.

Undoubtedly, Allah does not like arrogance. A proud person will never enter Paradise. As Satan said, I am better than Adam. So Allah says you should not be proud. Go get insulted and get out. There were arrogant people - Nimrud, Pharaoh, Abu Jahl; on the contrary, they were modest. All the best thinkers of the world tried to be modest. They tried to survive from pride.
Man's greatness is developed only through the relinquishment of ego. So pride and arrogance are the main obstacles to becoming the world's best. May Allah protect us from this pride and bragging! Amen.
Everyone loves a humble person. To get God's love, you have to be humble. Allah increases the dignity of the humble. Pride, violence, anger, hatred, and enmity harbor guilt in the mind. Such an internal disease destroys the inside of the egoist. Although ego is an internal disease, it manifests through behavior.
