Assalamu Alaikum greetings and greetings to all members of Steemit. Today - on the great May Day. I pay my respects to all the world's working people. Kudos to @ripon0630 sir for his timely choice of the topic "Great May Day" as part of the contest. So today, I am participating in the critical issue "Labor Day" competition. Today May 1st (May Day), is celebrated worldwide as Workers' demand day. Although the workers have thousands of demands, they are neglected today. The movement of workers to get these demands started in 1886 in the United States and was known as "Labor Day". At that time, the workers were doing inhuman labor and getting nominal wages. They had to live an inhuman life.

May Day is known as International Workers' Day. It is a day of workers' movement. Like different countries, this day is celebrated in Bangladesh through different movements. On this day, the workers march and meet on the highways in organized groups. To make this day a success, the workers raise various demands through their meetings and pave the way to achieve their goals. May Day is celebrated in about 80 countries of the world. This day is observed as a public holiday. Again, the day is celebrated privately in different countries. Mainly to eliminate the discrimination of the workers; on this day, the workers organize and move and make efforts to free the working people from the chains of subjugation.

"A laborer's life in a laborer's country" Bangladesh is essentially a laborer's country. Most men and women work in various fields, including agriculture- industry, hotels- restaurants-factories. Their livelihoods, hopes, aspirations, dangers, uncertainties, and dreams disappear behind the statistics. Their real-life remains are hidden. Even as the golden jubilee is being played in national celebrations today, most workers in the country remain under the minimum wage fixation. Demonstrations are taking place on the streets, demanding a safe working environment.

Today, we will become a middle-income country from a developing country by exploiting the labor and sweat of workers in cheap labor in Bangladesh. Although the workers work as fuel for the country's development and progress, they are deprived, exploited, and oppressed. In our country workers are not getting a fair price for their labor. As a result- their standard of living has become miserable. By pushing them to death, the owners improved their factories, increased production and exports, and enhanced the government's image with their luxury. But the salary of the workers is stuck. The body is broken due to hard work, and the skills are reduced due to malnutrition. This is the standard of living of the artisan workers of the country and the nation.

Labor Day Celebration - A May Day parade takes place in my area, in which I participate. Leaders of various levels gave speeches in this short gathering. They said that only the workers keep the wheels of the country's economy moving, and they are the most vulnerable and neglected. They are called on the government to improve their quality of life and stand by the workers. They also said that there is no alternative to ensuring the development of Bangladesh with a better working environment, good labor-owner relations, occupational safety and health, and overall rights.

"Your salary is the price of the worker's sweat; talk to them respectfully. The workers will get more respect". , the Holy Prophet (pbuh) instructed, "Pay the wages of the laborer before his sweat dries. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will raise complaints about three classes of people, among them (three) those who did not pay the dues after the laborer was employed. Therefore the wages must be paid on time. Workers provide luxuries to the owners, helping increase wealth so they are entitled to fair value. So ensuring a good environment, fair price, good relations, safety, and health for the workers will increase their motivation and help build motivation and morale among them. "Inshallah"!
