Have a Nice Day
The condition of my right eye at morning that day.
Today was one of those days - I hope never to repeat. It all started last night with a slight discomfort in my right eye, nothing too concerning. But when I woke up this morning, the pain and swelling had intensified, and my eye was incredibly itchy and irritating. I could not even open my eye properly.
I had my breakfast on my bed.
My dear mother-in-law, sensing my distress, came to my rescue. She brought me breakfast and morning tea in bed, showing me the kind of affection that warms your heart on tough days. I tried to rest and closed my eyes, hoping the discomfort would subside. However, the pain in my eye only worsened, and I knew I couldn't be sick all day with a toddler to care for.
"A mother can never go off duty".
Despite feeling unwell , I mustered the strength to give my little one a shower and prepare her for lunch, as she was refusing to eat by her dadumoni. It was difficult for me as I was not really feeling good at all. My condition was deteriorating , and I realised I must needed to go for medical expert.
On the way to hospital.
My father-in-law called my husband , who rushed home from the office and took me to a nearby CMH (Combained Military hospital) Dhaka. At the emergency department, a doctor examined my eyes and diagnosed it as a refractive infection, possibly due to excessive screen usage, allergies, or bacteria. He prescribed antibiotics and hot water therapy , and we were advised to return for a follow-up in two days.
My eye condition of that time.
Back home, I followed the doctor's instructions. I used a heated towel, eye drops, and took my medication, finding some relief. The pain and swelling began to subside , but the itching persisted. I was not allowed to do anything at home, and my husband took over caring for our daughter , allowing me to rest in my room with the lights off.
My husband was taking all the medicine from that shop.
After dinner , I took my antibiotics, applied the ointment , and used the eye drops before heading to bed. I am hoping that with a good night's sleep and all the prescribed treatments , I'll wake up in better condition tomorrow. Today was a day full of sufferings , but I'm truly grateful for the support of my family and the medical care I received.I would say It is a blessing to have that kind of people around me.
My medication was going on.
I'm seeking almighty's blessings and your good wishes and looking forward to a brighter, healthier day ahead, hoping to return to my regular life soon. Your good wishes would mean the world to me.
And please do take care of our health especially- your eyes. Because when ever you get sick you can realize the blessing of being healthy.
With profound gratitude and boundless hope,
