Kanchenjunga is about 165 km from Panchagarh district. But the mesmerizing Kanchenjunga can be seen standing across the currently flowing Mahananda river. Although it is visible from all around the district, the best view of Kanchenjunga is from the Tentulia Dak Bungalow area. Tentulia Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sohag Chandra Saha told the media that, as usual, all necessary precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of visitors from nearby areas.
