What Is My Dream Profession and Why? |

The profession I dreamt of when I was a child was medication field. In the medical field, I wanted to be a medical doctor. So, the course I intended to study in the university was the prestigious medicine and surgery. This is the field that I admired and love to venture into it. The reasons I wanted and loved this profession are numerous but I'll love to share some with us.
First, I was born into the world that sickness and infirmities is commonly seen. People are dying everyday because of an existing sickness that generate inti multiple complications. My aim was to help the medical staff to curb this issues.
Also, many people in the slums does not have the medical bills charged when they visit the hospital. This has made the slum inhabitants to die a silent but painful death resulting from illness. This set of people needs helps and my dream was to help this people. I wanted to help treat this people at a reduced rate or free if possible.

Unfortunately those dreams didn't come to reality. Here is the reason why my dream are yet to be reality.
I didn't have the cut-off point in JAMB examination to study that course. To study in any Nigerian Universities, One must write JAMB examination to qualify your admission. I couldn't get the expected score required to study medicine and surgery. So, I'll decide to switch course from Medicine and Surgery to Biology Education. This act didn't kill the passion in me about human life. But, if there is any opportunity, I'll go back and maximize it.
The Difference Between My Current Profession and Childhood dream Profession |

The current field of study am into is Biology Education which will eventually lead me into Teaching profession. There might be similarities between the two courses but there are clear differences in them. Teachers enlighten human beings while Doctors treat human beings. There are two types of sickness. The first is as a result of ignorance and the other is physical sickness. The sickness caused by ignorance can only be cured by a specialist called a teacher. The remedy used is to enlighten the individual so thay he/she won't be left behind. Doctors helps to treat physical sickness like Malaria, Typhoid, etc. The remedy used by doctors is by administrating drugs and therapies. It is obvious that the two profession is unique but s successful society can do without them.
If I am given privilege, I'll go back to the medical field which happens to be my dream profession.
